About provision of pensions of separate categories of the military personnel

For the purpose of increase in level of social protection of the military personnel discharged from military service in connection with reducing number of Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus in 1992-1994:

1. Determine that:

the size of the long-service pension received according to Item 2 of the Resolution of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Belarus of December 17, 1992 "About enforcement of the Law of the Republic of Belarus "About provision of pensions of the military personnel, faces of the commanding and ordinary structure of law-enforcement bodies" (Vyarkho¸naga Savet's Vedamastsi of Respubliki Belarus, 1992, No. 36, of the Art. 572) the pensioners who reached the age granting the right to old-age pension in accordance with general practice increases for every year of length of service by one percent of the corresponding amounts of cash allowance considered for purpose of pensions it. At the same time the pension size taking into account increase cannot exceed 70 percent of the corresponding amounts of cash allowance;

in the length of service (from the date of dismissal from military service before day of achievement of the age granting the right to old-age pension in accordance with general practice) considered for increase in the size of pension according to the paragraph the second this Item the periods provided in part one of article 51 of the Law of the Republic of Belarus of April 17, 1992 "About provision of pensions" are set off (Vyarkho¸naga Savet's Vedamastsi of Respubliki Belarus, 1992, No. 17, the Art. 275).

2. This Decree becomes effective from the first following after month of its official publication.
