1. Approve the Official list of the gages and measurements which are subject to legislative metrological control it (is applied).

2. Declare invalid the Official list of the measuring instruments which are subject to the mandatory state metrological control O.P.-2004, approved by the Resolution of Department of standardization and metrology No. 1445-M of January 4, 2004. The official list of the gages and measurements which are subject to legislative metrological control

1. The official list of the gages and measurements which are subject to legislative metrological control (further – the Official list), establishes according to provisions of the Law on metrology No. 19 of March 4, 2016:

1) categories and assortments of the gages which are subject to legislative metrological control (the table specified in columns 1-4);

2) the forms of legislative metrological control applied to each range of gages, the most admissible interval between two consecutive checkings (the table specified in columns 5-6);

3) categories of the measurements performed in the areas of public interest specified in part (1) article 11 of the called law.

2. For the purpose of this Official list the concepts stated in the Law on metrology with the following amendments are used:

category of gages – group of gages to which the same metrological and technical requirements provided by one or several regulating documents in the field of legislative metrology extend;

the range of gages - group of gages which belong to one category of the gages associated based on similarity of the principles of work, constructive decisions, scopes, operating conditions and/or areas/intervals of measurements;

the certificate on approval of type - the document issued by National institute of metrology, certifying that approval of type was provided;

the description of type - appendix to the certificate on approval of type which contains necessary descriptions for identification of type, explanation of its work, submission of technical and metrological characteristics, drawing metrological marking and compliance to the applied regulating documents in the field of legislative metrology;

metrological testing for the purpose of approval of type - set of transactions which are carried out on certain number of copies of one type of measuring instruments for the purpose of confirmation of conformity to requirements of the regulating documents applied in the field of legislative metrology, concerning this measuring instrument;

metrological brand - appliance for drawing metrological marking;

the approved type - final type or family of the measuring instruments allowed to application in areas of public interest, the decision on which approval is confirmed with issue of the certificate on approval of type.

3. In case of introduction on the market and/or commissioning of the gages which are subject to legislative metrological control according to part (1) article 13 of the Law on metrology, except for gages and non-automatic scales listed in appendix No. 3 to the Law on activities for accreditation and assessment of conformity No. 235 of December 1, 2011, legislative metrological control is exercised according to provisions of general regulations of legislative metrology by the following methods:

1) approval of type;

2) primary checking;

3) primary checking of SE;

4) supervision of the market.

3-1. The method of accomplishment of approval like the measuring instruments which are subject to legislative metrological control is stated in annex No. 1, and the method of accomplishment of checking of the measuring instruments which are subject to legislative metrological control is stated in annex No. 2 to this List.

4. Presence on gage of the corresponding brand of primary checking of SE means that it underwent to proper checks (to approval like CE, primary checking of CE) and, therefore, if import or commissioning of gage in the Republic of Moldova is performed, there is no need for repeating of earlier carried out control. Primary checking of SE is valid from the moment of its accomplishment until the end of the year following after year in which the brand of primary checking of SE is put.

Introduction conditions on the market and/or commissioning of the gages and non-automatic scales listed in appendix No. 3 to the Law on activities for accreditation and assessment of conformity No. 235 of December 1, 2011 are established by the Order of the Government No. 408 of June 16, 2015. "About approval of the Technical regulation about ensuring presence in the market of measuring instruments" (the gages provided in the table with index 1)) and the Order of the Government No. 267 of April 8, 2014. "About approval of the Technical regulation about non-automatic weight measuring devices" (the gages provided in the table with index 2)).

6. Ceased to be valid according to the Order of the Government of the Republic of Moldova of 20.07.2020 No. 534

7. Measuring instruments at which there is marking of compliance of SE and additional metrological marking provided by the technical regulations specified in Item 5, shall be placed in the market or are enacted without primary metrological checkings.
