1. Approve:

Regulations on procedure for determination of level of knowledge of provisions of the Constitution of the Republic of Moldova and state language (appendix No. 1);

structure of examination committee by determination of level of knowledge of provisions of the Constitution of the Republic of Moldova and state language (appendix No. 2);

sample of the certificate issued to persons who passed examination in determination of level of knowledge of provisions of the Constitution of the Republic of Moldova and state language (appendix No. 3).

2. Provide to the Ministry of Public Education the organization and holding examinations in determination of level of knowledge of provisions of the Constitution of the Republic of Moldova and state language by persons wishing to be naturalized the Republic of Moldova.

3. Determine that in case of release of members of the commission from the held public positions of their function as a part of the Commission persons who are again appointed to the corresponding positions without edition of other order of the Government will carry out.

Regulations on procedure for determination of level of knowledge of provisions of the Constitution of the Republic of Moldova and state language

General provisions

1. This provision establishes procedure for the organization and holding examinations in determination of level of knowledge of provisions of the Constitution of the Republic of Moldova and state language by persons wishing to be naturalized the Republic of Moldova.

Organization of examinations

2. Persons wishing to be naturalized the Republic of Moldova take two examinations: by determination of level of knowledge of provisions of the Constitution of the Republic of Moldova and by determination of level of knowledge of official language of the state.

3. Examinations in determination of level of knowledge of provisions of the Constitution of the Republic of Moldova and state language will be organized and held by the Ministry of Public Education.

4. Examinations are taken in the same day of the examination committee consisting of eight members including the chairman and the secretary.

5. Two representatives from the Ministry of Public Education and on one representative from the Ministry of Justice and Bureau of the interethnic relations, two university teachers - the specialist in the field of the right and two university teachers - the specialist in the field of philology are part of examination committee.

The chairman of examination committee is the representative of the Ministry of Public Education.

6. The staff of examination committee is offered by the Ministry of Public Education and affirms the order of the Government for a period of four years.

7. Examination committee sits, as a rule, at least once a month.

8. Compensation of members of Examination committee is performed by the Ministry of Public Education according to provisions of the Order of the Government No. 286 of May 24, 1993. "About payment terms of work of employees of budgetary institutions on the basis of the Single scale of charges", with subsequent changes, within the budgetary appropriations approved for the corresponding year.

9. Provides with the Ministry of Public Education material and technical resources of the commission within the budgetary funds allocated for these purposes.

10. Persons wishing to be naturalized the Republic of Moldova submit to the Ministry of Public Education the application for examination for determination of level of knowledge of provisions of the Constitution of the Republic of Moldova and state language.

11. Persons who submitted the application for examination are brought in the register and in time, not exceeding 30 days from the date of filing of application, in writing notified on date and the venue of examinations.

12. The admission to examination is performed based on the identity document of the applicant.

Holding examinations

13. Examination is taken for determination of level of knowledge of provisions of the Constitution of the Republic of Moldova in writing in Romanian on the basis of the standardized test developed and approved by the Ministry of Public Education. Duration of examination is 60 minutes.
