The purpose of this Law is regulation of the relations in the field of creation and functioning of mail service.
The legislation on mail service consists of this Law and other acts of the legislation.
If the international treaty of the Republic of Uzbekistan establishes other rules, than those which are stipulated by the legislation the Republic of Uzbekistan about mail service then are applied rules of the international treaty.
In this Law the following basic concepts are applied:
subscription post case - the special case established on objects of mail service with the locked cells which are leased for certain term by addressees for receipt of written correspondence, periodic printing editions, notices on receipt of post, express departures and postal money transfers;
subscriber post case - established in the apartment house, and also on the delivery site the special case with the locked cells intended for delivery to addressees of written correspondence, periodic printing editions, notices on receipt of post, express departures and postal money transfers;
the addressee - legal entity or physical person to which post, express departure, postal money transfer cable or other message is addressed;
written correspondence - simple, custom, with the announced value of the letter and parcel post, simple, custom postcards and sekogramma, and also small packets;
express departures - postcards, letters, parcels post, sending, printing editions which transfer is performed in the shortest possible time with delivery (delivery) from hand to hand;
