list of tests of precious metals.

Rules of approbation, the analysis and branding of jewelry and other products from precious metals

1. These rules establish procedure of approbation, the analysis and branding the state assay brand of jewelry and other products from the precious metals of national production and also imported on the territory of the Russian Federation from the countries, which are not entering into the Eurasian Economic Union, jewelry and other products from precious metals (further - the imported jewelry and other products from precious metals) and moved on the territory of the Russian Federation from the countries entering into the Eurasian Economic Union, jewelry and other products from precious metals (further - the moved jewelry and other products from precious metals).

2. Approbation, the analysis and branding of jewelry and other products from precious metals in the Russian Federation are performed by Federal assay chamber through the territorial authorities.

3. Jewelry and other products from precious metals of national production, including after repair (restoration), are represented on approbation, the analysis and branding by their manufacturers to territorial authority of Federal assay chamber around which activities they are.

Unclaimed jewelry and other products from precious metals on which collection in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation is turned are represented by pawnshops on approbation and branding to territorial authority of Federal assay chamber around which activities they are.

The jewelry and other products from precious metals accepted under the commission agreement from citizens (physical persons) are represented by the legal entities and individual entrepreneurs performing retail trade by jewelry on approbation and branding to territorial authority of Federal assay chamber around which activities they are.

Jewelry and other products from precious metals are represented by physical persons on approbation and branding to any territorial authority of Federal assay chamber.

4. The imported or moved jewelry and other products from precious metals are represented on approbation, the analysis and branding by the legal entities or individual entrepreneurs who performed respectively import or movement of the specified products to any territorial authority of Federal assay chamber.

5. Acceptance on approbation, the analysis and branding of jewelry and other products from precious metals is performed after introduction of data (information) on the specified products (except for jewelry and other products from the precious metals shown by physical persons) in the state integrated information system in the field of control of turnover of precious metals, gemstones and products from them at all stages of this turnover and in case of presentation:

a) ceased to be valid according to the Order of the Government of the Russian Federation of 27.05.2022 No. 964

b) pawnshops - copies of the mortgage ticket;

c) physical persons and individual entrepreneurs - the identity document;

d) the legal entities or individual entrepreneurs who performed import of the specified products, - the act of the state goods control, containing precious metals and the gemstones imported on the territory of state member of the Eurasian Economic Union, and the customs declaration;

e) the legal entities or individual entrepreneurs who performed movement of the specified products - the standard business and commodity-transport documents provided by the right of the Eurasian Economic Union;

e) the legal entities and individual entrepreneurs performing retail trade by jewelry and other products from precious metals, accepted under the commission agreement from citizens (physical persons), - copies of the commission agreement;

g) the representative of the legal entity, the representative of the individual entrepreneur - the power of attorney and the identity document.

6. In the territory of the Russian Federation can be in circulation and be implemented the jewelry and other products from precious metals branded according to earlier established procedure.

The rebranding of jewelry and other products from the precious metals which passed branding before introduction of metric system of tests is made according to these rules.

7. Jewelry and other products from precious metals shall correspond to the tests established in the Russian Federation.

For jewelry and other products from the precious metals intended for realization in the territory of the Russian Federation and in the territories of the states entering into the Eurasian Economic Union the metric system of tests is installed. For jewelry and other products from the precious metals intended for export from the Russian Federation to the states which are not entering into the Eurasian Economic Union the metric system of tests or karat system of tests concerning jewelry and other products from gold is installed.
