About the State interdepartmental commission on ecological education and education

According to article 14 of the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan "About ecological education of the population" and for the purpose of implementation of the State comprehensive program of development of ecological education and formation of the population of the Republic of Tajikistan for the period till 2020, the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan decides:

1. Create the State interdepartmental commission on ecological education and education.

2. Approve Regulations and structure on the State interdepartmental commission on ecological education and education according to appendices 1 and 2.

3. Under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan together with the ministries and departments, local executive bodies of the government, the organizations and organizations, irrespective of their patterns of ownership to provide to committee on environmental protection accomplishment of the State comprehensive program of development of ecological education and Formation of the population of the Republic of Tajikistan for the period till 2020.

4. Under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan to provide to committee on environmental protection activities of the State interdepartmental commission up to standard.

Regulations on the State interdepartmental commission on ecological education and education

1. The state interdepartmental commission on ecological education and education (further - the Commission) is created for coordination of activities of executive bodies of the government, the ministries and departments, and also the interested organizations for ecological education and formation of the population of the Republic of Tajikistan.

2. Main objectives of the Commission:

- realization of state policy in the field of ecological education and formation of the population of the Republic of Tajikistan, development of programs but se realization and control of their accomplishment;

- coordination of activities of local executive bodies of the government, other competent authorities of the Republic of Tajikistan, organizations and organizations, public associations for ecological education and formation of the population;

- preparation and submission of drafts of resolutions concerning ecological education and formation of the population in the Republic of Tajikistan;

- organization of the methodical help to educational institutions and public associations for ecological education and formation of the population;

- consideration of offers on creation of system of information support of ecological education, formation of m distribution of ecological knowledge among various segments of the population.

3. The commission has the temper following:

- consider the questions connected with ecological education and formation of the population including questions of implementation of intergovernmental agreements and international projects in this area;

- form in accordance with the established procedure temporary work groups from among scientists and specialists of this area for study of offers on separate problems of ecological education and formation of the population;

- within the competence to make in the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan offers on activization of educational and explanatory work and framework of the projects developed by the Commission;

- request materials and information on the questions entering its competence from all central executive bodies of the government, and also the companies, organizations and the organizations.

4. The commission chairman it is appointed one of Deputy Prime ministers of the Republic of Tajikistan and the vice-chairman of the Commission - the Chairman of Committee on environmental protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.

5. The structure of the Commission affirms the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.

6. The commission chairman performs the common directorship of its activities and bears the personal responsibility for accomplishment of the tasks assigned to it.

7. Commission sessions are held as required, but at least once in every half-year with the participation of more than a half of its structure on them.

8. Decisions of the Commission are made by a simple majority vote and drawn up by the protocol which is signed by the Commission chairman.

9. The decisions made by the Commission according to its competence are obligatory for execution by all state bodies, and also companies, organizations and organizations, irrespective of their patterns of ownership.

10. Organizational technical supply of work of the Commission is assigned to Committee on environmental protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.
