About approval of the coat of arms and flag of the Ministry of Justice

According to parts (2) - (4) article 6 of the Law No. 86 of July 28, 2011 on public symbols (The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2011, Art. No. 164-165, 478), the Government DECIDES:

1. Approve the following corporate symbols of the Ministry of Justice:

a) heraldic sign – the coat of arms, according to appendix No. 1;

b) veksillologichesky sign – flag, according to appendix No. 2.

2. Approve Regulations on use of the coat of arms and flag of the Ministry of Justice, according to appendix No. 3.

3. To the Ministry of Justice provide to the President of the Republic of Moldova the acts necessary for registration of the corporate symbols in the General armorial of the Republic of Moldova.

Coat of arms of the Ministry of Justice

In the azure field the gold eagle with the semi-opened wings over the power with cross of the same metal holding the same gold cross in beak, and in claws – yoke of silver ravnoplechny balance sheet scales in balance and the board bearing on breast with the coat of arms of Earth Moldavian (in the dark red field the gold head of tour directly accompanied between horns eight-beam star, on the right – heraldic rose and at the left – the decreasing half moon, the same metal).

Flag of the Ministry of Justice

Regulations on use of the coat of arms and flag of the Ministry of Justice

I. General provisions

1. The coat of arms and flag are public corporate symbols by means of which the Ministry of Justice is identified as the legal subject.

2. The owner of the public corporate symbols specified in Item of 1 this provision is the Ministry of Justice.

3. The coat of arms and flag of the Ministry of Justice can be used officially as public corporate symbols only after their registration in the General armorial of the Republic of Moldova.

4. The coat of arms and flag of the Ministry of Justice use legal protection according to the legislation.

5. Intentional violation of regulations on procedure for use of the coat of arms and flag of the Ministry of Justice, and also violation of them involves disciplinary, administrative or criminal liability, according to severity of committed action.

6. Responsibility and control of observance of this provision is imposed on the Ministry of Justice.

II. Use of the coat of arms of the Ministry of Justice

7. The coat of arms of the Ministry of Justice is placed on the location and on buildings of the Ministry of Justice, in studies of employees, and also in other rooms belonging to the Ministry of Justice.

8. The image of the coat of arms of the Ministry of Justice can be reproduced on:

a) official seals of the Ministry of Justice and administrative authorities subordinated to it;

b) official forms of the Ministry of Justice and administrative authorities subordinated to it;

c) objects of personal estate (transport, equipment, etc.). Ministries of Justice;

d) various heraldic (derivatives), veksillologichesky, medalyerny, faleristichesky and uniformistsky signs of the Ministry of Justice;
