About the basic principles of foreign policy activities of the Republic of Uzbekistan

Article 2. The Republic of Uzbekistan according to the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan can conclude the alliances, enter the commonwealth and other interstate educations, and also to leave them, proceeding from the highest interests of the state, the people, its welfare and safety.
Article 3. The Republic of Uzbekistan builds with all states the equal and mutually beneficial relations excluding any possibility of intervention in internal affairs, infringement of independence and sovereignty and ideologization of the interstate relations.
Article 4. The major task in foreign policy activities of the relevant structures of the Republic of Uzbekistan is active participation in work of the United Nations, Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe and other international organizations, integration into the European, Asian and world structures of safety.
Article 5. The Republic of Uzbekistan attaches priority significance to interstate educations, including economic which allow to provide stability, sustainable development and homeland security of the country, promote information, technological and communication inclusion of the Republic of Uzbekistan in world economic communications.
Article 6. The Republic of Uzbekistan according to the Law "About International Treaties of the Republic of Uzbekistan" and "Military doctrine of the Republic of Uzbekistan" does not take part in military-political blocks.
The Republic of Uzbekistan reserves the right exit from any interstate education in case of its transformation in the military-political block.
Article 7. The Republic of Uzbekistan takes active part in activities of intergovernmental and non-governmental educations for the purpose of prevention and the conflict resolution in the region and beyond its limits.
