About approval of the Concept and the Package of measures for providing healthy food of the population of the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2015 - 2020

In pursuance of the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan of April 25, 2015 "About further enhancement of implementable measures in the field of healthy food of the population of the Republic of Uzbekistan" the Cabinet of Ministers decides No. 102:

1. Approve:

The concept on providing healthy food of the population of the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2015 - 2020 according to appendix No. 1;

Package of measures for providing healthy food of the population of the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2015 - 2020 according to appendix No. 2.

2. Determine that the Concept and the Package of measures for providing healthy food of the population of the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2015 - 2020 are directed to the solution of the following priority tasks:

prevention and decrease in level of prevalence of the diseases connected with irrational food, the organization of broad explanatory work and strengthening of promotion of healthy food as bases of healthy lifestyle of the population, including with active use of mass media;

enhancement of regulatory framework for the purpose of further streamlining of system of catering services in educational and medical institutions, improvements of food allowance of children's organized collectives, implementations of efficient mechanisms of quality control of the foodstuff made in the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan and delivered from abroad and food staples;

creation of the conditions providing population requirements satisfaction in healthy food by stimulation of national production of foodstuff, especially to products enriched with the major micronutrients, creation of foodstuff on the basis of local raw materials, forming of the circle promoting implementation of the principles of healthy food among the population;

priority carrying out basic scientific research in the field of the healthy food and dietology directed to studying of food allowance among various national groups and the reasons of development of the widespread diseases connected with food.

3. To the ministries and departments, Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, khokimiyats of areas and Tashkent:

organize complete, timely and high-quality realization of the Package of measures for providing healthy food of the population of the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2015 - 2020;

on quarterly basis to submit reports on the course of implementation of actions in the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan, included in the Package of measures for providing healthy food of the population of the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2015 - 2020.

4. To provide to the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan coordination of activities of the ministries, departments and other organizations for realization of the Package of measures for providing healthy food of the population of the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2015 - 2020, having established system control of full, timely and high-quality implementation of actions.

5. To impose control of execution of this resolution on the deputy prime minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan A. I. Ikramov.
