1. Approve Regulations on the Republican commission on questions of energy efficiency and development of renewable energy resources according to appendix No. 1.
2. Make changes and additions to some decisions of the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan according to appendix No. 2.
3. Recognize invalid some decisions of the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan according to appendix No. 3.
4. To impose control of execution of this resolution on the deputy prime minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan G. I. Ibragimov.

1. The republican commission on questions of energy efficiency and development of renewable energy resources (further - the Republican commission) is coordinating body on ensuring control and interaction of bodies of the public and economic board in the field of energy efficiency, implementation and development of renewable energy resources, production, production, conversion, storage, transportation and consumption (further - production and consumption) fuel, energy and its carriers for the purpose of creation of conditions for sustainable development and functioning of industries of economy and the social sphere.
2. The republican commission performs the activities according to the Constitution and the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan, resolutions of chambers of Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, decrees, resolutions and orders of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, resolutions and orders of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, this Provision and other acts of the legislation.
3. In the activities the Republican commission is accountable to the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The republican commission consists of the territorial commissions on questions of energy efficiency and development of renewable energy resources of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, the areas of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the city of Tashkent (further - the territorial commissions).
Heads of the territorial commissions are the chairman of the board of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, hokima of areas and the city of Tashkent.
Standard structure, tasks, functions and the rights of the territorial commissions affirm the chairman of the Republican commission.
The Ministry of Economics of the Republic of Uzbekistan is working body of the Republican commission (further - Working body of the commission).
4. The main objectives and activities of the Republican commission is implementation of measures on:
to reducing power consumption of the gross domestic product, implementation of energy-saving technologies and systems in industries of economy and the social sphere;
to decrease in power consumption of products by further upgrade existing and creations of new production capacities only based on modern energy efficient and energy-saving technologies;
to development and accomplishment of organizational and technical actions for economy of fuel and energy resources and programs of energy saving;
to carrying out energy inspections (energy audit) of the companies and organizations according to the international practice;
to acceleration of development, implementation in industries of economy and the social sphere of renewable energy resources, including the approved technologies of use of solar energy;
to expansion of production of modern types of the energy saving equipment, devices and materials, and also the automated systems of accounting of expense of fuel and energy resources, with their universal implementation in industries of economy and the social sphere;
to providing energy efficiency in case of construction new and reconstruction of the operating residential and office buildings, industrial facilities by means of application of modern architectural and construction decisions and new energy saving types of building constructions, and also insulating materials;
to ensuring coordinated actions of bodies of the public and economic board regarding development and practical realization of the main directions in the field of implementation and development of energy efficiency and renewable energy resources;
to development of the main directions of enhancement of legal regulation in the field of implementation and development of energy efficiency and renewable energy resources, and also coordination of their realization;
to consideration of the offers directed to creation of necessary conditions for forming of energy efficient economy and stimulation of energy saving;
coordination of activities of bodies of the public and economic board in the field of energy efficiency, implementation and development of renewable energy resources, implementation of industry, regional programs of energy saving, and also measures for diversification of fuel and energy resources, with active application of alternative types of fuel and energy;
to monitoring of implementation of the long-term development programs and investing programs directed to implementation of energy efficient technologies and alternative energy sources of subjects of natural monopolies, expense optimizations of fuel and energy in case of production and consumption for own and technology needs;
to requirements satisfaction of the domestic market in fuel and energy resources, including by diversification of fuel and energy balances with attraction of alternative types of fuel and energy;
to consideration of offers on the tariff policy stimulating energy efficiency, developments and implementations renewable and alternative energy sources;
to decrease in administrative barriers in case of implementation of the principles and technologies of energy efficiency and renewable energy resources in industries of economy and the social sphere;
