About approval of Rules of reference of the woods to categories of zashchitnost and their transfer from one category in another

For the purpose of separation of forest lands of forest fund, especially protected natural territories and the woods which are not entering into the state forest fund on categories of zashchitnost of the woods, according to Articles 18, of 29, 30 and 31 Forests codes of the Kyrgyz Republic, articles 10 and 17 of the constitutional Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "About the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic" the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic decides:

1. Approve Rules of reference of the woods to categories of zashchitnost and their transfer from one category in another according to appendix.

2. This resolution becomes effective after fifteen days from the date of official publication.

Rules of reference of the woods to categories of zashchitnost and their transfer from one category in another

1. General provisions

1. In case of reference of the woods to categories of zashchitnost it is necessary to provide careful matching of the plantings which are most answering to basic purpose of the marked-out category of zashchitnost of the woods.

2. The category of zashchitnost of the woods is determined for forest lands of forest fund, forest lands of especially protected natural territories and for the woods which are not entering into the state forest fund.

The mode of forest management and use of the wood is established depending on the main purpose of category of zashchitnost of the woods according to the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic and determined by state body in the field of environmental protection and forestry.

3. In case of reference of the woods to the corresponding categories of zashchitnost borders of forest lands of forest fund, forest lands of especially protected natural territories and the woods which are not entering into the state forest fund are at the same time determined.

4. Borders of the forest lands planned for reference to category of zashchitnost need to be combined, whenever possible, with natural boundaries and borders having manufactured.

5. When the woods growing in one territory perform at the same time several protective functions, they belong to that category of zashchitnost:

- where more high security of forest management and use of the wood is set;

- which has the big importance, according to the table below (the less sequence number, the more importance).

6. Reference of the woods on categories of zashchitnost, their transfer from one category in another, allocation of especially protective sites of the wood with the limited mode of forest utilization is made in case of forest management or special inspections according to these rules.
