About simplification of the mode of entry into the Republic of Moldova of citizens of some countries

For the purpose of implementation of actions for integration of the Republic of Moldova into the European Union the Government DECIDES:

1. Determine that:

citizens of candidate countries on accession to the European Union and the State of Israel, owners of diplomatic passports, can drive without visas on the territory of the Republic of Moldova for a period of up to 90 days;

citizens of candidate countries on accession to the European Union and the State of Israel, owners of service and all-civil foreign passports, can receive entrance/exit visas to the Republic Moldova / from the Republic of Moldova for a period of up to 90 days without presentation of invitations from legal entities and physical persons of the country;

if between the Republic of Moldova and one of the above-stated states there is current agreement which establishes different way of entry of the foreign citizen into Moldova, provisions of this agreement are applied.

2. Declare invalid the Order of the Government N 1150 of December 11, 1997 about some privileges for citizens of member countries of the European Union, the United States of America and Canada visiting the Republic of Moldova (The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 1998, N 9, the Art. 47).
