About identification, registration, traceability of animal (herds), identification and traceability of animal products

Chapter 1. General provisions

Article 1. The main terms used in this Law and their determinations

In this Law the following main terms and their determinations are used:

the owner of animal (herd) – the legal entity or physical person, including the individual entrepreneur having on the property right, economic maintaining, operational management or other legal cause animal (herd);

the state information system in the field of identification, registration, traceability of animal (herds), identification and traceability of animal products (further – the state information system) – set of information system in the field of traceability of animal products (further – IS "AITS-Traceability") and the state information resources, and also information technologies and program technical means in the field of identification, registration, traceability of animal (herds), identification and traceability of animal products;

livestock object – complex, farm, the building, construction in which are performed cultivation, cultivation, content and slaughter of animal (herds);

animals aquatic organisms – the fish, crabs, lobsters, crawfishes divorced and who are grown up in semi-free conditions or artificially created habitat;

identification number – the unique not repeating number assigned to animal (herd);

identification of animal products – the procedure of reference of animal products to objects of identification of animal products;

identification of animal (herd) – the procedure of assignment to animal (herd) of identification number for the purpose of establishment of data on animal (herd);

the manufacturer of animal products – the legal entity or physical person, including the individual entrepreneur enabling production and the realization (release into the stream of commerce) of animal products, including their conversion and utilization;

the manufacturer of means of identification – the legal entity or the individual entrepreneur enabling production and the realization (release into the stream of commerce) of means of identification;

the passport of animal (herd) – the electronic document of the established form confirming identification of animal (herd) and its registration in the state information system;

movement of animal (herd) – process from which change of livestock object for animal (herd) or so animal owner (herd) results;

traceability of animal products – opportunity dokumentarno (on paper and (or) electronic media) to establish the manufacturer and the subsequent owners who are in the product circulation of animal origin except the final consumer, and also the place of their production;

traceability of animal (herd) – opportunity to establish the origin, the location, movement and other events connected with animal (herd);

fur and fur animals – foxes, minks, rabbits, nutrias, beavers, polar foxes, sable, the polecats, muskrats, otters, raccoon dogs divorced and who are grown up in semi-free conditions or artificially created habitat;
