Based on subitem 7.4 of Item 7 of the Regulations on the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Belarus approved by the Presidential decree of the Republic of Belarus of December 29, 2006 No. 756 "About some questions of the Ministry of Emergency Situations" the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Belarus DECIDES:
1. Approve the enclosed Rules on ensuring industrial safety of the explosion-proof fans operated on chemical, petrochemical and oil processing productions.
2. This resolution becomes effective since May 1, 2015.

1. These rules establish requirements of industrial safety in case of performance of works on designing, production, installation, adjustment, testing, servicing, technical diagnosing, repair and operation of explosion-proof fans for the chemical, oil and gas-processing, petrochemical industry in which the substances capable to form heat address and stored - Paro - and air-gas explosive mixes also are intended for application by all organizations irrespective of their forms of business and patterns of ownership performing activities in the field of industrial safety and also in case of expansion, reconstruction, modernization of chemical, petrochemical and oil processing productions.
2. These rules are aimed at providing industrial safety, accident prevention, accidents and incidents in case of operation of explosion-proof fans (further - fans) in chemical, petrochemical and oil-processing industry.
3. In these rules terms and their determinations in the values established by the Law of the Republic of Belarus of January 5, 2016 "About industrial safety" are used (The national legal Internet portal of the Republic of Belarus, 14.01. 2016, 2/2352), and also following terms and their determinations:
aerodynamic characteristics - performance of installation by air and to heat, the developed pressure, resistance of separate elements of ventilating installation or the device (filters, heaters);
ventilating system - complex of the ventilating installations and devices of natural ventilation servicing the certain room or the building in general;
ventilating installation - set of the ventilating devices supplied with the separate fan or other special equipment for air movement;
explosion-proof electric equipment - electric equipment in which constructive measures for elimination or difficulty of possibility of ignition of the explosive environment surrounding it owing to operation of this electric equipment are provided;
