to the Presidential decree of the Republic of Moldova of February 23, 2015 No. 1458-VII
1. This provision establishes procedure for production and use of the Standard of the President of the Republic of Moldova.
2. The standard of the President of the Republic of Moldova is national symbol of the Republic of Moldova which represents the veksillologichesky personified official sign of the President of the Republic of Moldova and symbolizes the power of the President as heads of state, the guarantor of sovereignty, national independence, unity and territorial integrity of the country, the commander-in-chief of Armed forces of the Republic of Moldova.
3. The citizens of the Republic of Moldova and foreign persons who are in the Republic of Moldova shall show respect for the Standard of the President of the Republic of Moldova and not make any offensive actions concerning it.
4. At ceremonies of posting of the Standard of the President of the Republic of Moldova on the occasion of festive events attendees get up, men bare the heads, and the military personnel of all ranks salutes according to army regulations.
5. Intentional violation of regulations of this provision, and also defilement of the Standard of the President of the Republic of Moldova involves the responsibility established by the legislation.

Veksillologichesky description of the Standard of the President of the Republic of Moldova, stipulated in Article 16 Laws on National flag of the Republic of Moldova, following: The standard of the President of the Republic of Moldova represents the purple square panel with the image in the middle of the State Emblem of the Republic of Moldova with gold eagle framed with compound border from squares with the party of 1/9 h of national flowers of the Republic of Moldova in alternation blue – yellow – red – yellow.

a) gold fringe on panel perimeter, except the party from staff which is decorated with the scallops embroidered with gold thread and is supplied with system of fixture to staff;
b) wooden staff of dark red color 2500 mm long and metal sole;
c) standard navershiy for staff of flags of public institutions of the Republic of Moldova;
d) two gold cords attached to navershiya of flag and terminating in brushes of the same metal;
e) rectangular personal gold level 70 mm long and 20 mm wide, attached to staff standard panels on its face on which are in two ranks engraved are lower: in the first row name and surname of the President of the Republic of Moldova, and in the second – date of bringing of the oath.
11. The personal level of the newly elected President of the Republic of Moldova replaces personal level of the previous President. The personal level removed from staff solemnly is transferred to storage to the Office of heraldry of the Office of the President of the Republic of Moldova.
12. Duplicates of the Standard of the President of the Republic of Moldova repeat the original of standard on composition, proportions, coloring, the sizes, external jewelry and special obligatory accessories, except for personal level.
13. Copies of the Standard of the President of the Republic of Moldova repeat the original of standard according to the veksillologichesky description and keep its composition, proportions and coloring. The sizes, external jewelry and accessories of copies are established depending on specific needs, general veksillologichesky recommendations of the National commission on heraldry and in coordination with the President of the Republic of Moldova.
14. Duplicates and copies of the Standard of the President of the Republic of Moldova are made according to the decision of the President of the Republic of Moldova.
15. The original of the Standard of the President of the Republic of Moldova, its duplicates, copies and the reproduced images irrespective of the sizes shall correspond precisely to the proportions and coloring established by the Law on National flag of the Republic of Moldova and this provision.
16. The original of the Standard of the President of the Republic of Moldova is handed to the President at ceremony of inauguration and stored in its office office in the main official residence.
17. The original of the Standard of the President of the Republic of Moldova is taken out according to the decision of the President of the Republic of Moldova when holding especially festive official events. During the public ceremonies at which legal practice provides execution of the Standard of the President of the Republic of Moldova the standard is born by the standard-bearer or group of standard-bearers from among the military personnel of Guard of honor.
18. Duplicates and copies of the Standard of the President of the Republic of Moldova are hung out established):
a) on official presidential residences: on the main official residence – it is permanent (for finding of the President of the Republic of Moldova in the country), on the others – for the period of stay of the President in them;
b) on the private residence of the President of the Republic of Moldova – it is permanent, for the mandate;
c) in additional office offices of the President of the Republic of Moldova – it is permanent;
