1. This Instruction establishes procedure for carrying out approval and registration of approval like the vehicle (approval like the landing gear) (further, unless otherwise specified, - approval of type).
2. Approval of type is performed based on the appeal of the accredited body on certification specified in part one of Item 24 of the technical regulation of the Customs union "About safety of wheel vehicles" (TR CU 018/2011) approved by the Decision of the Commission of the Customs union of December 9, 2011 No. 877 (further – certification body).
3. The certification body sends to the State committee on standardization (further – Gosstandart) which is authorized body of the Republic of Belarus on approval and registration of approval like the vehicle (approval like the landing gear) when carrying out approval like the vehicle (approval like the landing gear) in the Republic of Belarus, the approval of type which is drawn up according to requirements of the technical regulation of the Customs union "About safety of wheel vehicles" (TR CU 018/2011), Rules of filling of forms of approval like the vehicle, approval like the landing gear, the notification on cancellation of the document certifying compliance to the technical regulation, safety construction certificates of the vehicle and the certificate on vehicle compliance with the changes made to its design to safety requirements approved by the Decision of Board of the Eurasian economic commission of December 9, 2014 No. 232.

7. In case of identification of violations concerning correctness and justification of registration of approval like Gosstandart returns it to certification body without approval.
8. The chairman Gosstandarta or his deputy approves approval of type no later than 10 working days from the date of registration of the transmittal letter, except for the case specified in Item 7 of this Instruction.
The signature of the Chairman Gosstandart or his deputy, and also each page of approval of type are certified by official stamp of Gosstandart.
9. Registration of approval of type is performed by Gosstandart according to the procedure, the established Regulations on forming and maintaining the unified register of the issued approvals like the vehicle, approvals like the landing gear, safety construction certificates of the vehicle and the registered notifications on cancellation of the document certifying compliance to requirements of the technical regulation of the Customs union "About safety of wheel vehicles" (TR CU 018/2011) approved by the Decision of Board of the Eurasian economic commission of December 2, 2014 No. 225.
