Requirements of industrial safety to freon refrigeration units

Chapter 1. Basic provisions

1. Requirements of industrial safety to freon refrigeration units extend to designing, installation and operation of freon installations by single performance over 3,5 of kW (3000 kcal/h) in accordance with GOST 6492-86, device and operation of the stationary and portable refrigeration units of general purpose working on the closed cycle with use as refrigerating agents R 12, R 22, R502 and others according to appendix 1 to these Requirements.

2. In refrigeration units it is allowed to use devices (vessels) for hladon made according to the existing specifications and technical documentation.

3. The organization is developed production schedules on operation (servicing) of refrigeration equipment.

4. In the engine room are hung out in a visible place the scheme of pipelines of coolant (the refrigerating agent), coolant and water with numbering in them (and, respectively, in nature) shutoff valves, devices of control and automatic equipment.

5. In case of modification of system of refrigeration unit the scheme of refrigerating pipelines, is adjusted.

6. The engine room of refrigeration unit is provided with emergency firefighting equipment. Placement and storage in the engine room of foreign objects is not allowed.

7. The entrance of strangers to the engine room is not allowed.

Chapter 2. Materials of the equipment and pipelines

8. The parts of the equipment and pipelines adjoining during the work with freon and lubricant oil are made of materials, chemically inert in relation to them.

9. Materials of the parts of the equipment which are treated to action of low temperatures have no irreversible structural changes and keep necessary durability at these temperatures.

11. As material of flanges for freon pipelines at temperature of boiling is not lower minus 40 °C are applied steel 10 and 20 (GOST 1050-88), at temperature of boiling is lower minus 40 °C - steel 10G2 (GOST 4543-71).

12. Flange connections of freon fittings have sealing surfaces "thorn - groove" or "ledge - hollow", and flanges of armature are carried out with hollow.

13. Fittings having adaptation separating the omental camera abroach oh of channels of channel of freon is used to freon installations.

14. Locking gates and other fittings from malleable cast iron are allowed to be used at boiling temperature not below minus 30 °C. At temperature of boiling is lower minus 30 °C are applied armature from carbonaceous and corrosion-resistant staly.

15. Laying from paronite of the MBP5BTs, PMB brands is applied to consolidation of demountable connections (GOST 481-80) or from other material with similar hardness and firmness in the environment of hladon.

Chapter 3. Category of rooms of freon installations and special requirements

16. On potential of explosion of the room with freon installations treat inexplosive. On fire danger all rooms of freon installations belong to the category D, except for the refrigerating chambers with temperature more than 10 °C belonging to the category B. On degree of danger of defeat by electric current refrigerating chambers and engine rooms of freon installations belong to the category of rooms with the increased danger.

17. In case of placement of refrigeration units in technology workshops with the increased humidity degree of protection of electric equipment is accepted in accordance with GOST 14254-96.

18. Electroinstallations of freon refrigerating systems conform to requirements to the device of electroinstallations of technical operation of electroinstallations of consumers, safe engineering in case of operation of electroinstallations of consumers".

19. Refrigerating chambers with temperature of 0 °C and are equipped below with system of the light-sound alarm system "the person in the camera", the signal from which arrives to the room with permanent watch of personnel.

20. For the emergency shutdown of power supply of all equipment (except emergency ventilation and lighting) not aggregated refrigeration units (compressors, pumps, fans and other) at one of exits of the engine room the button (red color) of general emergency shutdown is mounted.
