About approval of the Standard instruction for labor protection when rendering services in repair of the household machinery and appliances

Based on the paragraph of third of part one of article 9 of the Law of the Republic of Belarus of June 23, 2008 "About labor protection" in edition of the Law of the Republic of Belarus of July 12, 2013, subitem 5.6 of Item 5 of the Regulations on the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Belarus approved by the resolution of Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus of June 25, 2013 No. 527 "Questions of the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Belarus", the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Belarus DECIDES:

1. Approve the enclosed Standard instruction for labor protection when rendering services in repair of the household machinery and appliances.

2. This resolution becomes effective after its official publication.

The standard instruction for labor protection when rendering services in repair of the household machinery and appliances

Chapter 1. General requirements on labor protection

1. This Standard instruction establishes requirements for labor protection when rendering services in repair of the household machinery and appliances.

2. Persons which underwent in the cases established by the legislation and procedure medical examination, instructing, training and examination concerning labor protection are allowed to rendering services in repair of the household machinery and appliances.

3. In the course of rendering services in repair of the household machinery and appliances impact on the working following harmful and (or) dangerous production factors is possible:

the increased value of tension in electric chain;

mobile parts of the equipment;

the increased noise level on workplace.

4. Working taking into account the harmful and (or) dangerous production factors influencing them are provided according to the legislation individual protection equipment.

5. Working shall:

nobility and observe requirements of operational documents of the organizations - manufacturers of the used equipment;

observe the work-rest schedule set by the legislation, employment policies and procedures of the organization, labor discipline, fulfill requirements for labor protection, rules of personal hygiene;

observe the production technology of works, apply the methods ensuring labor safety;

contain according to the procedure and purity the workplace, the used equipment, the tool, devices, lamps;

report to the direct head or other authorized officer of the employer about defect of the used equipment, the tool, devices, individual protection equipment, other malfunctions interfering performance of work about deterioration in condition of the health;

fulfill requirements of fire safety;

care for personal security and personal health, and also for safety of people around in the course of performance of works or in the time spent for the territory of the organization;

to immediately report to the employer about any situation, life-endangering or to health working and surrounding, the accident which happened on production;

know the location of the first-aid kit of first aid universal;

fulfill other duties, stipulated by the legislation.

6. Working have the right to refuse accomplishment of the charged work in case of direct danger to life and their health and people around before elimination of this danger.

7. Stay working in condition of alcoholic, drug or toxic intoxication, and also drinking of alcoholic drinks, consumption of drugs, psychotropic substances, their analogs, toxic means on workplace and in working hours is not allowed.

8. Working bear responsibility according to legal acts for failure to meet requirements of this Standard instruction.

Chapter 2. Requirements for labor protection before work

9. Before rendering services in repair of the household machinery and appliances working shall:

check serviceability of individual protection equipment for lack of external injuries;

put on the operational individual protection equipment corresponding to the performed work;

remove the pricking and cutting objects from pockets;

check purity on workplace (indoors), remove excess objects from workplace, passes and drives;

check serviceability of the used equipment, the tool, devices, lamps;

check serviceability of safety locks, plug sockets, extenders, isolation of wires, sockets and their compliance to working tension;

check availability and serviceability of grounding of cases of current collectors, lack of the bared wires;

check work of local ventilation.

10. In case of detection of defect of the used equipment, the tool, devices, individual protection equipment, other malfunctions interfering performance of work, working shall report about it to the direct head or other authorized officer of the employer.

Chapter 3. Requirements for labor protection in case of performance of work

11. When rendering services in repair of the household machinery and appliances working shall:

perform only that work which is charged to it;

start repair of the household machinery and appliances, perform works on their testing after disconnection of the household machinery and appliances from power supplies and after complete stop of their moving parts;

to place the repaired household machinery and appliances on workplace taking into account convenience and safety of work;

change of placement of the repaired household machinery and appliances on workplace to make assembly of the scheme or its partial change after their disconnection from power supplies;

connection of the collected scheme, the used equipment, the electric tool, lamps to power supplies to make through the safety locks and adjusting products corresponding on current and tension;

to make verification of presence of supply voltage in electric chains the used equipment having the index of tension;

in case of temporary termination of work or in case of interruption in supply of supply voltage to disconnect the scheme, the used equipment, the electric tool, lamps from power supplies;

not allow blocking up of workplace.

12. In case of performance of work working it is not allowed:

use defective the used equipment, the tool, devices, lamps;

put the used equipment, the tool, devices, lamps on the repaired household machinery and appliances;

use accidental objects instead of the tool, devices;
