About carrying out currency transactions
For the purpose of settlement of situation in the physical foreign exchange market of Ukraine, being guided by article 99 of the Constitution of Ukraine, Articles 7, of 15, of 44, 45 Laws of Ukraine "About the National Bank of Ukraine", Articles 6, 11 Decrees of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of February 19, 1993 No. 15-93 "About system of currency control and currency exchange control", the Board of the National Bank of Ukraine decides:
1. Permit authorized banks in case of non-compliance with requirements to procedure for forming and storage of required reserves for the corresponding accounting period of reservation to perform own transactions on purchase of foreign currency only for ensuring carrying out currency exchange transactions.
2. Other regulatory legal acts of the National Bank of Ukraine are effective in the part which is not contradicting requirements of this resolution.
3. The resolution becomes effective from the date of its official publication.
4. I reserve control over the implementation of this resolution.
