This Law determines the rights, obligations and basic guarantees of activities of the deputy regional, district and city Kengash of People's Deputies (further - the deputy).
The deputy is the citizen of the Republic of Uzbekistan elected in corresponding regional, district, city Kengash of People's Deputies (further - Kengash of People's Deputies) and registered according to regional, district and City Elections Commission according to the Electoral code of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The deputy performs the activities according to the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "About the government on places", this Law and other legal acts.
The deputy is elected to term of office of the corresponding Kengash of People's Deputies.
In case of transfer of the territory of the constituency to structure of other administrative and territorial unit or educations in its territory of new administrative and territorial unit of power of the deputy elected from this constituency remain. transfer to the chairman at the corresponding Kengash's meeting of People's Deputies the text of the performance, the offer or the note on the question discussed at meeting;
in case of disagreement with the decision of body of the corresponding Kengash of People's Deputies which part it is, to state the point of view at the corresponding Kengash's meeting of People's Deputies or to report about it in writing to the corresponding Kengash's head of People's Deputies;
exercise control of program implementation of development of the corresponding territories;
make offers on hearing at meetings of the corresponding Kengash of People's Deputies of the report or information of any body or the official accountable or People's Deputies under control to the corresponding Kengash;
offer questions of conducting checks of execution of the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and also accomplishment of decisions of the corresponding Kengash of People's Deputies to consideration;
get acquainted with shorthand reports of meetings of the corresponding Kengash of People's Deputies;
hold meetings with voters, self-government institutions of citizens, the organization of political party;
address relevant organs and officials with the requirement to take measures for immediate suppression of the found violations of the rights and the interests of citizens or other violations of the law protected by the law.
The deputy can have and other rights according to legal acts.
The deputy shall participate in the corresponding Kengash's meetings of the People's Deputies formed by him the commissions in which structure he is elected personally to participate in the vote according to the procedure established by the corresponding Kengash's Regulations of People's Deputies.
The deputy in case of impossibility to participate at the corresponding Kengash's meeting of People's Deputies, the commission which part it is shall report beforehand about it to the corresponding Kengash's head of People's Deputies or the commission.
The deputy can perform also other duties according to legal acts.
The corresponding Kengash's deputy of People's Deputies keeps in contact with voters of the district, the political party which proposed him as the candidate, expresses their interests in the corresponding Kengashe of People's Deputies.
The deputy considers according to the procedure, established by the legislation, the addresses of voters which arrived to it, takes measures to their permission, conducts acceptance of physical persons and representatives of legal entities.
The deputy periodically, but at least four times a year, informs voters on the activities.
