About additional measures for stimulation of export of products made by the companies with foreign investments

For the purpose of expansion of the export potential of the republic, creating favorable conditions for increase in currency self-sufficiency of the companies with foreign investments, increases in production of competitive products by them and export deliveries:

1. Establish since September 1, 1997 for the production enterprises with foreign investments exporting self-produced products for freely convertible currency, the following additional benefits and preferences:

cancel the export customs duties on self-produced products;

grant the right to export own products without advance payment and opening of the letter of credit, in the presence of guarantees of the commercial banks servicing the buyers, and adherence to deadlines of receipt of currency earnings provided by the current legislation;

permit to open abroad trading houses and representations for marketing researches of the foreign markets and advertizing of the made products with delivery of goods for them on a consignment basis;

determine that the companies independently create contract prices of the exported self-produced products on contractual basis.

3. To the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan to establish tough control of illegal export of products made in the republic, to apply severe measures of administrative to violators of the current legislation, including criminal, responsibility.
