The government of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Government of the Republic of Moldova which further are referred to as with the Parties
expressing aspiration to further development and strengthening of friendly relations and cooperation between the people of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Moldova in the field of culture and art,
in view of traditions of cultural communication and friendship of the people of both states,
being convinced that bonds in the field of culture and art are equitable to radical interests of the people of both countries and will promote further development of the relations of friendship, neighborliness and mutually beneficial cooperation,
in view of requests and interests of the citizens living out of the national state educations
agreed as follows:
The parties, relying on centuries-old cultural and spiritual bonds of the people of Uzbekistan and Moldova, will and promote development of cooperation between them in the field of culture and art from now on.
The parties will promote carrying out Culture Days of Uzbekistan in the Republic of Moldova and Culture Days of Moldova in the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Each Party will provide to the citizens broad access to culture of other Party.
The parties will promote establishment, expansion and deepening of direct cooperation and direct connections between public institutions and public organizations of culture, to experience exchange between the interested departments.
The parties express readiness to promote on the basis of bilateral programs and projects of cultural cooperation to the invitation from one republic in another of professional and amateur art collectives, groups, ensembles, certain contractors.
In the field of executive art of the Party will render assistance to the organization of festivals, reviews, tours of collectives and soloists, implementation of scenic statements of musical and drama works of the Uzbek and Moldavian authors.
The parties shall create favorable conditions for exchange and cooperation in the field of theatrical, variety, circus and motion picture art, protection of objects of historical and cultural heritage, amateur folk art, national crafts.
The parties will promote exchange of exhibitions graphic, arts and crafts.
The parties will organize and carry out cultural events, to develop and realize the programs, business projects directed to support and coordination of cooperation of the national and public associations in the field of culture and art.
The parties will cooperate in library science by exchange of books, editions, catalogs, other information material.
The parties will perform exchange of teachers of educational institutions of culture and art, specialists, and also graduate students, scientists of research institutions of Art Studies.
The parties will support cooperation in the field of museum case, will provide the complete information about the historical and cultural values which are stored in the state meetings, collections and funds.
For the purpose of studying of approach to questions and problems of culture in the conditions of market economy of the Party agreed to exchange experience, to carry out in each of the Parties by agreement of conference, "round tables", other actions.
For the purpose of accomplishment of this agreement bilateral programs of exchanges and working plans of cooperation between the Ministry of cases of culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Moldova will be developed and prepared.
This agreement becomes effective in day of its signing and will be effective within 5 years. It will be prolonged automatically for the next five-year periods every time until one of the Parties notifies in writing other Party on the intention to stop its action at least in six months prior to the expiration of the corresponding term.
It is made in Chisinau on March "30", 1995 in two authentic copies, everyone in the Uzbek, Moldavian and Russian languages, at the same time all texts have identical legal force.
In case of discrepancy in interpretation of separate provisions of the Agreement the text in Russian is assumed as a basis.
