State register of radioactive waste

1. The state register of radioactive waste (further - the Register) represents consecutive current record of acts of special form of education, physical and chemical structure, amounts, properties, and also transportation, storage and burial of radioactive waste and is created within system of the state accounting of radioactive waste.

2. Information about all types of radioactive waste (the firm, liquid, gaseous, fulfilled the term radioactive sources, radioactive waste of conversion of ore mining industry, metalloloma and the objects contaminated by radioactive materials and others) is entered into the Register.

3. The register is kept on the basis of the radioactive waste of accounting cards filled with keepers (the sample is applied), which each half a year go them to the Agency on nuclear and radiation safety of Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tajikistan.

4. Creation, the organization and maintaining the Register is assigned to the Agency on nuclear and radiation safety of Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tajikistan. The agency on nuclear and radiation safety of Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tajikistan performs reliability of the data specified in accounting cards of radioactive waste in the organizations - keepers of radioactive waste.

5. The agency on nuclear and radiation safety of Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tajikistan provides information from the Register to authorized state body in the field of the treatment of radioactive waste and to other bodies for request, and also the international organizations and other states according to agreements, recognized as the Republic of Tajikistan.

6. Concerning maintaining the Register the Agency on nuclear and radiation safety of Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tajikistan annually constitutes the report which no later than February 28 of the following after accounting year moves in the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.

7. Persons breaking procedure for maintaining the Register (unreasonable refusal of submission of information or representation of unreliable information, untimely submission or concealment of information, violation of procedure for storage of information, deliberate destruction of information) will be brought to the administrative responsibility according to the legislation of the Republic of Tajikistan.

8. Heads of keepers of radioactive waste bear responsibility for timely provision of information on introduction (and also modification) in the Register.

9. Documentation of the Register is subject to dead storage.

10. The agency on nuclear and radiation safety of Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tajikistan bears responsibility for safety, completeness of the Register and timely modification of it.
