According to the Decision on accession of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Contract on creation of the Common economic space between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Republic of Uzbekistan signed on January 16, 1994 in the city of Bishkek

The State Tax Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the State customs inspection under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic which are referred to as further Contracting Parties

for the purpose of simplification of customs formalities when moving goods,

agreed as follows:

Article 1

Contracting parties will provide that vehicles, the loads, baggage, mailings, currency, other means of payment and currency values following through border were supplied with the relevant documents answering to customs and currency rules of the states of participants of this agreement and applied in freight, passenger traffic and in post exchange.

Article 2

Contracting parties will mutually recognize customs papers, customs seals, prints of seals and stamps and official signs on vehicles, loads and mailings, and also seals and seals of forwarding and transport organizations.

Article 3

Contracting parties will exchange samples of the customs papers and customs providing mentioned in Article 2, and also lists of goods, import, export or transit of which through their territory is limited or prohibited.

Article 4

Contracting parties will timely notify each other on changes and amendments in the customs legislation and regulating documents regulating activities of customs authorities and also on changes and amendments in the customs legislation, rules, office instructions and forms of customs papers and providing.

Article 5

Movement of goods between customs of Contracting Parties will be performed with use of the Cargo customs declaration (further the referred to as GTD) the established sample.

Article 6

All matters of argument connected with accomplishment and interpretation of provisions of this agreement are solved by consultations and approvals between Contracting Parties.

Article 7

Customs papers of the Parties are carried out in the Russian or English languages.

Article 8

Contracting parties will aim at gradual standardization of customs papers and their simplification.

Article 9

This agreement becomes effective from the date of signing.

The agreement is signed for a period of 5 years with the subsequent automatic prolongation for the next 5-year periods until one of Contracting Parties does not tell in writing other Party its denouncement not later than six months before the expiration of the corresponding period.

It is made in the city of Tashkent on December "25", 1996 in duplicate in the Uzbek, Kyrgyz and Russian languages, at the same time all texts are equally authoritative.

In case of disagreements in case of interpretation of the text of the Agreement the Russian text is assumed as a basis.
