About approval of the Regulations on procedure for maintaining the state inventory of the territories

1. Approve Regulations on procedure for maintaining the state inventory of the territories according to appendix.

2. To impose control of execution of this resolution on the chairman of the State committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on land resources, geodesy, cartography and the state inventory S. Arabov, the chairman of the board of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, hokim of areas and the city of Tashkent.

Regulations on procedure for maintaining the state inventory of the territories

I. General provisions

1. The state inventory of the territories is created and kept according to the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "About the state inventories", the Regulations on procedure for creation and maintaining the Single system of the state inventories approved by the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan of February 16, 2005 No. 66, other regulatory legal acts, this Provision.

2. In this Provision the following basic concepts are applied:

the geoportal of the state inventory of the territories - set of Internet means and services of geospatial data which support metadata about information resources of the state inventory of the territories and provide access to them and to information resources of the state inventory of the territories to the Internet;

geospatial data - the information containing data on location of objects of the area, provided in electronic graphical and/or text form and systems of coordinates;

the state inventory of the territories - the geographic information system containing territorial and organized geospatial data on natural and resource and economic potential, social and economic development and ecological condition of the specific territory. The state inventory of the territories is component of the Single System of the State Inventories (SSSI);

the state systems of geodetic coordinates, heights, gravimetric measurements - the systems of geodetic coordinates, heights, gravimetric measurements established in the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan for application in case of accomplishment of geodetic and cartographic works which results have nation-wide (cross-industry) appointment;

The Single System of the State Inventories (SSSI) - the multi-purpose information system combining all types of the state inventories and intended for ensuring single nation-wide accounting, assessment of natural and economic capacity of the Republic of Uzbekistan and its separate territories;
