Regulations on procedure for recognition of the breeding certificate or the document equivalent to it issued on the imported breeding products (material) by competent authorities of exporting countries

1. General provisions

1. This Regulations on procedure for recognition of the breeding certificate or the document equivalent to it issued on the imported breeding products (material) by competent authorities of exporting countries (further - the Provision) are developed according to the subitem 14) of article 13 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan of July 9, 1998 "About breeding livestock production" and determine procedure for recognition of the breeding certificate or document equivalent to it issued on the imported breeding products (material) by competent authorities of exporting countries.

2. In this Provision the following concepts are used:

1) department of authorized body in the field of breeding livestock production (further - Committee) - the committee of authorized body in the field of breeding livestock production with territorial subdivisions exercising the state control in the field of breeding livestock production;

2) sample of the breeding certificate or document equivalent to it issued on the imported breeding products (material) by competent authorities of exporting countries (further - the Sample) - set of the general data on breeding products (material) accepted by competent authorities of exporting countries;

3) recognition of the breeding certificate or document equivalent to it issued on the imported breeding products (material) by competent authorities of exporting countries - the procedure of confirmation of conformity of the breeding certificate or the document equivalent to it issued on the imported breeding products (material) to the Sample approved according to the procedure established in this Provision;

4) the importer - the physical person or legal entity performing import to the Republic of Kazakhstan of breeding products (material);

5) the Commission on consideration of sample of the breeding certificate or the document equivalent to it issued on the imported breeding products (material) by competent authorities of exporting countries (further - the Commission) - annually created by Committee or Republican chamber on breeds of cattle (further - Chamber) which collegiate organ is included consideration of samples of the breeding certificates or documents equivalent to it issued by competent authorities of exporting countries on the imported breeding products (material) regarding their coordination into competence.
