1. The main objectives and the directions of maintaining the National register of software developers are:
creation of single electronic bank of information on domestic software developers and support to the young talented programmers occupied in creation of perspective projects and innovative computer technologies;
forming of the database of national software products and provision of information on condition and market potential of production of software products in the country;
stimulation of development of domestic software products, high-quality, competitive in the internal and external markets;
determination of the priority directions of development of software products taking into account real requirement of industries and spheres of economy;
representation of interests of domestic software developers, rendering to them assistance in promotion of the products in the internal and external markets.
2. In this Provision the following basic concepts are used:
The national register of software developers (further - the National register) - single electronic bank of information on domestic software developers;
software developer - the legal entity, resident of the Republic of Uzbekistan performing according to the procedure, established by the legislation, the activities connected with production (development), maintenance (servicing), implementation and implementation of own software;
the software - the intellectual property item consisting of logically organized set of the transactions, the teams and data provided in algorithmic language and intended for realization on the computer for the purpose of receipt of certain result. The software is implied as also preparatory materials received during its development.
3. For the purpose of this provision are understood as development, implementation and implementation of own software:
a) computer programming and all types of activity on writing, modifying, testing and providing with technical support, documentation of the software (including with use of commercial or freely widespread modules), including development of structure and content and/or writing of system of the teams necessary for creation and accomplishment of the system software (including recovery), application programs (including recovery), databases, websites (including their audiovisual elements), software setup, that is modification and configuration of existing application so that it functioned within information system of the client, development of the individual software (to order) and adaptivising of software packages to needs of users, writing of program attendants of instructions for users;
b) activities for processing and data entry in databases of the software of own development, to ensuring operation on long-term (permanent) basis of the means of processing and data entry realized or provided in use;
