- development of the Inventory of meliorative condition of lands, the analysis of execution of the orders of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan on improvement of process of meliorative condition of lands at the expense of the available financing sources, supervision and prevention of the reasons of deterioration in meliorative condition of lands;

- the analysis and monitoring of condition of shore protection works in Sai and the rivers;

- plan development of repair, recovery and preserving dikes;

- development of the annual plan of development of new lands;

- plan development of financing for development of the sphere from appropriate sources;

- the organization and kordination of the actions providing steady technical condition and steady functioning of the water storage basins having exclusively irrigational functions;
