About preschool training and education
This Law establishes legal, organizational, economic and social basis of preschool training and education in the Republic of Tajikistan.
In this Law the following basic concepts are used:
- preschool training and education - the target process developing capabilities, bents, physical, mental, intellectual and cultural features of children of preschool age, promoting families and parents (to persons, them replacing) in training and education of children, and also their preparation for training in educational institutions of the general education;
- preschool age - stage of physical, spiritual, moral and social formation of the child up to seven years;
- educational preschool institution - the organization provided for children of preschool age, covering their primary training and education;
- content of preschool training and education - complex of the regulations and rules determining the state requirements to extent of development and education of children of preschool age, and also condition of its achievement;
- State standard of preschool education - the regulation establishing single requirements to preschool training and education;
- employees of the sphere of preschool training and education - teachers, tutors, methodologists, health workers, assistants to tutors, nurses and service personnel of the sphere of preschool training and education.
The legislation of the Republic of Tajikistan on preschool training and education is based on the Constitution of the Republic of Tajikistan and consists of this Law, other regulatory legal acts of the Republic of Tajikistan, and also the international legal acts recognized by Tajikistan.
