1. Approve:

Regulations on procedure of activities for production, import and distribution of materials of religious content in the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan according to appendix No. 1;

Regulations on procedure for conducting the state theological examination of materials of religious content according to appendix No. 2;

No. PP-3668 is excluded according to the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan of 16.04.2018

2. Under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan to provide to committee on cases of religions in a month:

completion of department of work with faiths and examinations by highly qualified specialists, and also necessary information base and office equipment;

the unified register on accounting of the conclusions of theological examinations;

the organization and carrying out work on wide explanation of procedure of activities for production, import and distribution of materials of religious content in the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

3. Item paragraph two 2, paragraph one of Item 3 of the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan of April 23, 2004 as No. 196 "About further enhancement of activities of Committee on cases of religions under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan" and appendix No. 2 to it to recognize invalid.

4. To committee on cases of religions under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan together with the interested ministries and departments to make offers on the changes and amendments in the legislation following from this resolution in a month.

5. To impose control of execution of this resolution on the deputy prime minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan A. I. Ikramov.

Regulations on procedure of activities for production, import and distribution of materials of religious content in the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan

I. General provisions

1. This Provision determines procedure of activities for production, import and distribution of materials of religious content in the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

2. Activities on production, to import and distribution of materials of religious content in the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan are performed according to the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan, resolutions of chambers of Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, acts of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, decisions of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and also this Provision.

3. Production, import and distribution of materials of religious content in the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan are allowed only after conducting the state theological examination.

the state theological examination (further - examination) - the procedure of research of materials of religious content by Committee on cases of religions (further - authorized body);

experimental testimony (further - the conclusion) - the written instrument formalizing the fact of carrying out theological research concerning materials of religious content on availability of variations or misstatements from religious canons, question, necessary for the decision, on the admission (refusal in the admission) to production, import and distribution of the specified materials in the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan which is carried out by Committee on cases of religions;

the list prohibited on production, import and distribution of materials of religious content - the list of materials of religious content which is annually constituted by Committee on cases of religions which turnover in the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan is forbidden;

the job seeker - the legal entity or physical person which filed in authorized body petition for issue of the conclusion.

II. Production of materials in the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan

5. Production of materials in the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan is performed by legal entities or physical persons.

6. The control copy and necessary information on the materials intended for production shall be previously brought to authorized body for examination production.

7. The materials released by legal entities or physical persons after the carried-out expertize shall have information with indication of the author and material name, the address of the publisher, the quantity (circulation), the summary or interpretation of material and date of production.

8. Production of materials is allowed only after conducting the examination performed within ten working days following the results of which the conclusion is drawn up.
