About some measures for increase in efficiency of activities of the state media

For the purpose of increase in efficiency of activities of the state media I decide:

1. Liquidate:

a) federal state budgetary institution "State Fund of Television and Radio Programs" (Moscow) with the subsequent transfer of the operational management of property assigned to it on the right to economic maintaining the federal state unitary enterprise "All-Russia State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company";

b) federal state budgetary institution of science "Russian book chamber" (Moscow) with the subsequent transfer of the operational management of property assigned to it on the right to economic maintaining the federal state unitary enterprise "ITAR-TASS News Agency (ITAR-TASS)" (Moscow).

2. Reorganize federal state budgetary institution "Editorial office" of the Russian newspaper" (Moscow) in the form of accession of federal state budgetary institution to it "The editorial office of the Rodina magazine (Moscow).

3. Create the federal state unitary enterprise "The international news agency "Russia Today".

4. Determine that:

a) the main activity of the federal state unitary enterprise "The international news agency "Russia Today" is publicizing abroad of state policy of the Russian Federation and public life in the Russian Federation;

b) provide in a month holding the actions necessary for realization of Items 3 - 7 these Decrees, including on inclusion of the federal state unitary enterprise "The international news agency "Russia Today" in the list of the strategic companies and strategic joint-stock companies approved by the Presidential decree of the Russian Federation of August 4, 2004 No. 1009;

c) determine in a month amount and procedure for financing of the actions necessary for implementation of this Decree;

d) provide holding other actions necessary for implementation of this Decree in 3-month time;

e) bring the acts into accord with this Decree.
