According to article 5 of the Law of Ukraine "About technical regulations and assessment of conformity" the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine decides:

1. Approve enclosed:

The paragraph two is excluded according to the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of 15.10.2024 No. 1181

The technical regulation of energy marking of household electric refrigerators and the actions plan on its application;

The technical regulation of energy marking of household washing machines and the actions plan on its application.

2. To provide to the state agency on energy efficiency and energy saving application of the technical regulations approved by this resolution.

3. Recognize invalid resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine according to the list which is attached.

4. This resolution becomes effective in six months from the date of publication.

Technical regulation of energy marking of household electric refrigerators

(Concerning the introduction in action of the Technical regulation and changes to it see the Section III of the Law of Ukraine of December 1, 2005 No. 3164-IV)

General part

1. This Technical regulation establishes the main requirements concerning representation to information users about the level of efficiency of energy consumption household electric refrigerators with amount of storage from 10 to 1500 liters (further - refrigerating devices), and also the additional information.

The technical regulation No. 1060/2010, which supplements the Directive of the European Parliament and Council of May 19, 2010 with No. 2010/30/EU of rather energy marking of household electric refrigerators is developed on the basis of the Delegated regulations of the Commission (EU) of September 28, 2010. The table of correspondences of provisions of the Delegated regulations to provisions of this Technical regulation is given in appendix 1.

2. Action of this Technical regulation extends to refrigerating devices of national and foreign production which are introduced into circulation in the territory of Ukraine:

the new refrigerating devices which are powered from network of electric current or rechargeable batteries;

refrigerating devices which are on sale for not household use or chilling of other objects, except foodstuff;

built-in refrigerating devices.

3. Action of this Technical regulation does not extend on:

refrigerating devices which are powered from such sources as the liquefied oil gas, kerosene and biodiesel fuels;

refrigerating devices which are powered from rechargeable batteries and can be powered from power network via the converter of alternating current in permanent which is on sale separately;

the refrigerating devices manufactured to order for disposable or such which differ from models of refrigerating devices;

refrigerating devices which are used in the field of services in case taking out of products from them is controlled in the electronic way then for the purpose of accounting of products information is transferred to system of remote control;

devices which are not intended for storage of foodstuff by chilling, in particular ice generators or automatic machines for sale of the cooled drinks.

4. In this Technical regulation terms are used in such value:

1) multipurpose department - department in which for storage of products two or more temperature conditions which can be established by the consumer for permanent maintenance of working temperature according to the instruction of the producer are used. In case the department has function of change of temperature condition in department on other working temperature only for the limited period (bystry freezing), the department is not multipurpose;

2) the multipurpose refrigerator - the refrigerating device which has no other departments, except multipurpose departments;

3) department for storage of wine - the department intended only for short-term storage of wine for the purpose of provision to it optimum temperature for the use or long-term storage of wine for the purpose of ripening with such parameters:

the permanent temperature of storage established in advance or manually according to the instruction of the producer from + 5 C to + 20 C;

storage temperature which during time changes less than on 0,5 C for each temperature condition of climatic class of the household refrigerator determined by the supplier;

active or passive control of humidity from 50 to 80 percent;

reduction of transfer of vibration from the compressor of the refrigerator or any other source in department;

4) department for storage of frozen goods - the low-temperature department intended for storage of frozen goods, in particular:

the department marked by one asterisk (*) - department for storage of frozen goods, with temperature not above - 6 C;

the department marked by two asterisks (**) - department for storage of frozen goods, with temperature not above - 12 C;

the department marked by three asterisks (***) - department for storage of frozen goods, with temperature not above - 18 C;

freezing department (the department marked by four asterisks (****) - the department intended for freezing at least 4, of kilogram of products on 100 liters of amount of storage and at least 2 kilograms of products from temperature of the surrounding environment to - 18 C within 24 hours. Such department is also used for storage of frozen goods, as well as the department marked by three asterisks (***) and can include the sections marked by two asterisks (**) in department;

the department which is not marked by asterisks - department for storage of frozen goods with temperature below 0 of C which can be used for preparation and storage of ice, but is not intended for storage of fresh products;

5) department for storage of fresh products - the department intended for storage of not frozen goods which can be divided into sections;

6) department for chilling - the department intended for storage of products or drinks at temperature higher than temperature of department for storage of fresh products;

7) department for ice preparation - the low-temperature department intended for preparation and storage of ice;

8) department which is not frosted over (no frost), - department which has system of counteraction to ice accretion;

9) department another - department, except department for storage of wine, intended for storage of certain products at temperature over +14 of C;

10) the built-in refrigerator - the refrigerating device which is intended for embedding in case, the prepared niche wall or the similar place also needs additional furniture finishing;

11) the equivalent household refrigerating appliance - model of the refrigerating device placed in the market with the same total amounts and amounts of storage, technical and operational characteristics and types of departments, as well as other model of the refrigerating device placed by the same supplier in the market under other trade code;

12) deep freeze - the refrigerating device with one or more department marked by three asterisks (***), for freezing of foodstuff from temperature of the surrounding environment up to the temperature - 18 C, intended for storage of frozen goods which can also have the department marked by two asterisks (**) and/or sections in department or case;

13) deep freeze chest - the refrigerating device in which departments are located from above the device, or the refrigerating device which design combines design features of the refrigerator which opens from above, and the refrigerator of vertical type. Total capacity of its departments which open from above shall exceed 75 percent of total amount of the refrigerating device;

14) cooling agent - the refrigerating device with one or more department for chilling;

15) the household refrigerator - the refrigerating device in the form of separate heat-insulated case with one or more department intended for chilling/freezing of foodstuff or storage of the cooled / frozen goods for the household purposes;

16) sale Item - the place where refrigerating devices are exposed or offered to sale, in hire or leasing;

17) system of counteraction to ice accretion - system of automatic prevention to formation of hoarfrost by artificial air circulation;

18) the consumer - person who acquires or can acquire the refrigerating device;

19) foodstuff - any substance or product (crude, raw, semi-processed or processed), including agricultural products, intended for consumption by the person, and also chewing gum, drink and any other substance, including water which are included in foodstuff during its production, preparation or processing;

20) the refrigerator - the refrigerating device intended for storage of foodstuff with at least one department suitable for storage of fresh products and/or drinks including wine;

21) the refrigerator of absorbing type - the refrigerating device in which chilling is performed due to process of absorption with use of heat as power source;

22) the refrigerator of vertical type - the refrigerator, access to which departments is provided from the face;

23) the refrigerator for storage of wine - the refrigerating device which has no other departments, except departments for storage of wine;

24) the refrigerator for storage of products - the refrigerating device with at least one department for storage of fresh products and one department with moderate temperature, but without departments for storage of frozen goods, department for ice preparation;
