RESOLUTION OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF UZBEKISTAN

of October 22, 2013 No. PP-2053

About enhancement of the organization of management and use of radio-frequency range

(as amended on 23-02-2021)

According to the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "About radio-frequency range" and for the purpose of enhancement of the organization of management and use of radio-frequency range:

1. Create Republican council on radio frequencies, having abolished the State Commission on Radio Frequencies of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

2. Determine the main objectives and activities of Republican council on radio frequencies:

realization of state policy in the field of ensuring effective use of radio-frequency resource of the Republic of Uzbekistan according to the priority directions of social and economic development of the country;

development and implementation of the concept of distribution and use of radio-frequency range, forming of the Table of distribution of radio frequencies of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the organization of carrying out scientific and technical researches in the field of use of radio-frequency range;

implementation of international cooperation in the field of use of radio-frequency range, protection of national interests of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the international organizations concerning planning, appointment and use of radio frequencies;

the organization of monitoring of compliance with law about radio-frequency range, development and acceptance of the complex system measures directed to protection of the rights and legitimate interests of users of radio-frequency range;

studying of the best foreign practices of use of modern technologies in the field of regulation and use of radio-frequency range, creation and development of single automated control system in this sphere;

 protection of the rights and legitimate interests of users of radio-frequency range.

3. Approve:

Structure of Republican council on radio frequencies according to appendix No. 1;

Regulations on Republican council on radio frequencies according to appendix No. 2.

4. Determine that the decisions of Republican council on radio frequencies made within its powers are obligatory for execution of the public and economic board by bodies, public authorities on places, and also users of radio-frequency range.

5. Determine that the Ministry of development of information technologies and communications of the Republic Uzbekistan is working body of Republican council on radio frequencies.

Create in structure the Ministry of development of information technologies and communications of the Republic of Uzbekistan department of regulation of use of radio-frequency range in number of 3 established posts for organizational technical supply of activities of Republican council on radio frequencies.

6. To the state committee of communication, informatization and telecommunication technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan in two-month time:

together with the Ministry of Justice and other interested ministries, departments to make in the Cabinet of Ministers offers on the changes and amendments in the legislation following from this resolution;

in accordance with the established procedure to bring departmental regulatory legal acts into accord with this resolution.

7. To impose control of execution of this resolution on the Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sh. M. Mirziyoyev.
