About approval of the Agreement "About cooperation in the field of tourism between the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Government of the Republic of Poland"

1. Approve the Agreement on cooperation in the field of tourism between the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Government of the Republic of Poland signed on November 6, 2012 in the city of Warsaw.

2. To committee on cases of youth, sport and tourism under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan together with the relevant ministries and departments to take necessary measures for implementation of the specified Agreement.

3. To the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan in accordance with the established procedure to notify the Polish side on accomplishment of the interstate procedures by the Republic of Tajikistan necessary for entry into force of the specified Agreement.

The government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Government of the Republic of Poland which are hereinafter referred to as by the Parties, expressing desire to promote expansion druzhestvo of other bonds between the people of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Poland, aiming at the best acquaintance with life, history and cultural heritage of both states, understanding that tourism is important means of strengthening of mutual understanding, expressions of good will and consolidation of the relations between the people, agreed as follows:

Article 1

The parties will be strengthen and to develop cooperation in the field of tourism on the basis of equality, mutual advantage and according to this agreement, the legislation of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Poland, and also international treaties which participants are the Republic of Tajikistan and/or the Republic of Poland.

Article 2

The parties will promote establishment and development of cooperation between the Tajik and Polish organizations participating in development of the international tourism, performing investments into the sphere of tourism, and also organizing joint activities for the purpose of servicing of tourists.

Article 3

The parties will encourage cooperation of the organization in development of group and individual tourism.

Article 4

The parties will promote exchange of information in the following areas:

- tourism statistics;

- the regulations regulating tourist activities;

- the domestic legislation connected with protection of natural and cultural resources;

- experience in servicing tourists.

Article 5

Each of the Parties will take necessary measures for informing the citizens of the state leaving in tourist trips to the state another. The parties, about the legislation existing in this state regulating procedure for entrance, stay and departure of foreign citizens.

Article 6

The parties will promote exchange of scientists, experts, the journalists specializing in questions of tourism and also cooperation of the entrepreneurs who are engaged in tourist activities.

Article 7

The parties will develop cooperation within the World tourism organization and other international tourism organizations.

Article 8

Each of the Parties will promote creation in the territory of the state of the centers of tourist information of other Party.

Article 9

The parties will create working group within Tajik-Polish intergovernmental, the commissions on economic cooperation to which tasks of coordination and control over implementation of provisions of this agreement and adoptions of recommendations in the field of bilateral cooperation about tourism will be assigned.

Article 10

In case of disagreements in interpretation of provisions of this agreement, the Parties will solve them by negotiations and consultations.

Article 11

This agreement becomes effective from the date of receipt of the last written notice confirming accomplishment of the interstate procedures by the Parties necessary for its introduction in force.

Article 12

This agreement is signed for a period of 5 years automatically to be prolonged for subsequent 5 summer periods one of the Parties will not notify in writing other Party on the intention to stop its action, but not later than 6 months before the expiration of the next period.

Cancellation of this agreement does not affect accomplishment of the programs and projects begun during its action provided that the Parties will not agree about other.

It is made in the city of Warsaw on November 6, 2012 in duplicate, everyone in the Tajik, Polish and Russian languages, and all texts are equally authoritative. In case of disagreements in interpretation of this agreement, as decisive the text in Russian is recognized.
