About step-by-step application of certification of products (works, services)
The Cabinet of Ministers notes that expansion of foreign economic relations and accomplishment of intergovernmental trade and economic agreements require quality assurance of products (works, services) on the basis of the international rules, first of all, of their certification. Since January 1, 1993 in the former federal republics with which the republic economy is connected application of certification of products is begun.
For the purpose of prevention of economic losses which can be formed as a result of application of new procedure on export and commodity importation and accelerations of creation of National system of certification the Cabinet of Ministers of the Azerbaijan Republic decides:
1. Since January 1, 1994 to apply in the republic step-by-step certification of products (works, services) on safety indicators to protection of life or human health, the environment and valuable interests of the state against direct and essential danger or essential harm.
2. Approve Regulations on National system of certification it (is applied).
3. Approve the list of products which safety shall be ensured it (is applied).
4. Charge to heads of the ministries, companies, concerns, production associations, associations, companies and trade structures of all patterns of ownership, to entrepreneurs to prepare and take adequate measures for ensuring application of certification in accordance with the established procedure and within fixed terms.
5. Charge to Azergosstandart for the purpose of coordination and implementation of the carried-out works in the sphere of certification in a month to develop package of measures, approved with the involved ministries, organizations and the organizations and to control their execution.
