About creation of the Azerbaijani republican state broadcasting company

For the purpose of further enhancement of management system by television and broadcasting in the republic I decide:

1. Create the Azerbaijani republican state broadcasting company, having transferred it the fixed assets and other state-owned property which are as of March 1, 1991 under the authority of the State committee of the Azerbaijan Republic on television and broadcasting and subordinated associations, the companies and the organizations.

Keep behind the created broadcasting company of function, the right and obligation of the State committee of the Azerbaijan Republic on television and broadcasting, with preserving total number, standard rates of budgetary appropriations and conditions of the operating economic mechanism.

2. Appoint the chairman of the Azerbaijani republican state broadcasting company comrade Khalilova Geysara Veysal Oglou, having exempted him from obligations of the chairman of the State committee of the Azerbaijan Republic on television and broadcasting.

Charge to comrade Khalilov G. V. in two weeks:

submit for approval to the President of the Azerbaijan Republic the project of regulations on the Azerbaijani republican state broadcasting company, having provided in it that the chairman of the Azerbaijani republican state broadcasting company has managerial rights of the central state body of the Azerbaijan Republic; make offers on financial provision and other questions of activities of the Azerbaijani republican state broadcasting company in the Cabinet of Ministers of the Azerbaijan Republic.

Determine that according to the Presidential decree USSR of February 8, 1991 "About creation of All-Union state broadcasting company" operation of article 3 of the Presidential decree USSR of November 2, 1990 "About special procedure for use of currency resources in 1991" about obligatory sale to Vnesheconombank of the USSR part of currency earnings does not extend to foreign economic activity of the Azerbaijani republican state broadcasting company.

4. To the Cabinet of Ministers of the Azerbaijan Republic to resolve the issues following from this Decree.
