About introduction of prohibition of transit of the liquefied gas through the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan road transport
According to Article 24 of the Customs code of the Republic of Uzbekistan, for the purpose of ensuring state security, protection of public order, life and health of the population, protection of the surrounding environment the Cabinet of Ministers decides:
1. Prohibit transit of the liquefied gas since January 1, 2013 (the Commodity Nomenclature of Foreign Economic Activity code - 2711) through customs area of the Republic of Uzbekistan road transport.
2. To provide to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Uzbek agency of road and river transport informing consignors on an imposed prohibition of transit of the liquefied gas with road transport.
3. To the State Customs Committee and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan in cases of illicit transit movement of the liquefied gas through customs area of the Republic of Uzbekistan to take adequate measures according to the address of the specified amount of the liquefied gas to the income of the state in the procedure established by the legislation.
4. To impose control over the implementation of this resolution on the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan R. S. Azimov.
