The main border marker of the Republic of Uzbekistan established in case of demarcation of Frontier of the Republic of Uzbekistan with the adjacent states represents steel concrete rectangular design with the cross section of 18x22 cm, 265 cm high and tetrahedral pyramidal form in the upper part. After installation of border marker in soil its design represents column 200 cm high, the base and blind area.
The main border marker on all height of column is painted in the colors corresponding to National flag of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
On the main border marker of the Republic of Uzbekistan the State Emblem of the Republic of Uzbekistan is established and the sequence number (the Arab figures) of this sign is put.
The image of the State Emblem of the Republic of Uzbekistan is carried out on metal plate of 22x22 cm in size by stamping method. The State Emblem is established on the wide side of the main border marker turned towards the adjacent state at height (on the lower edge of plate) 165 cm from blind area level.
Figures of number 10 cm high are applied with white enamel paint on blue background with arrangement of figures on 5 cm below plate with the image of the State Emblem. (Number of the corresponding main border marker is specified also on additional border markers which number is put down in the form of fractional number where in numerator number of the main border marker and in denominator - own sequence number of this additional sign is specified.)
Except the image of the State Emblem and sequence number on the main border markers of other designations it is not provided.
The border marker shall be clearly visible, strong and durable. Installation of sign shall be made on depth at least 65 cm on the solid (dense) soil excluding sag of the soil, with work on consolidation and fixing with area steel concrete at the basis of border marker, guaranteeing long-term safety and reliable protection against destruction or loss as a result of impact of the person or forces of nature (floods, landslides, avalanches).
Installation of border markers in places with collapsible soil and quicksands is forbidden. In case of development of technological schemes on installation of border markers in the desert and sand area consolidation of subfoundation and carrying out antierosion processes is without fail provided (stacking of crushed stone, the turf, etc.).
