Article 4. Operation of the Code of Turkmenistan about social protection of the population extends to the legal relationship which arose in the field of social protection of the population after its introduction in action.
If the relations in the field of social protection of the population arose before enforcement of the Code of Turkmenistan about social protection of the population, its provisions are applied to those rights and obligations which arose after its introduction in action.
In cases if after enforcement of the Code of Turkmenistan about social protection of the population in regulation of the relations in the field of social protection of the population there are contradictions or the legal status of participants in the field of social protection of the population worsens, provisions of this Code are applied.
Article 5. Until reduction of the Laws and other regulatory legal acts of Turkmenistan in compliance with the Code of Turkmenistan about social protection of the population they act so far as do not contradict it.
Article 6. To the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan in three-months time to bring regulatory legal acts of Turkmenistan into accord with the Code of Turkmenistan about social protection of the population.
