About adoption of the technical regulation of the Customs union "Safety requirement of nutritional supplements, fragrances and technological supportive applications"
According to article 3 of the Agreement on the Eurasian economic commission of November 18, 2011 Council of the Eurasian economic commission solved:
1. Accept the technical regulation of the Customs union "Safety requirement of nutritional supplements, fragrances and technological supportive applications" (TR CU 029/2012) (is applied).
2. Establish:
2.1. The technical regulation of the Customs union specified in Item 1 of this Decision becomes effective since July 1, 2013;
2.2. The requirements established by Items 3, of 4, 5 (regarding sterigmatotsistin) parts 9 of Article 7 and appendix 28 (regarding content of the main substance) the technical regulation of the Customs union specified in Item 1 of this Decision become effective from Date of Introduction in action of the interstate standards determining control methods.
3. This Decision shall enter into force upon the expiry of 30 calendar days from the date of its official publication.

Safety requirements of nutritional supplements, fragrances and technological supportive applications
Preface
1. The technical regulation of the Customs union "Safety requirement of nutritional supplements, fragrances and technological supportive applications" (further - the Technical regulation) is developed according to the Agreement on the single principles and rules of technical regulation in the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation of November 18, 2010.
2. This Technical regulation is developed for the purpose of establishment on single customs area of the Customs union single obligatory for application and execution of requirements to nutritional supplements, fragrances and technological supportive applications and their content in food products, ensuring free movement of the nutritional supplements, fragrances and technological supportive applications released on single customs area of the Customs union.
3. The requirements to content and use of nutritional supplements, fragrances and technological supportive applications established by other technical regulations of the Customs union do not may contain the requirements contradicting requirements of this Technical regulation.
4. If concerning nutritional supplements, fragrances and technological supportive applications other technical regulations of the Customs union establishing requirements to nutritional supplements, fragrances and technological supportive applications are accepted, then nutritional supplements, fragrances and technological supportive applications also shall conform to requirements of these technical regulations of the Customs union which action extends to them.
1. This Technical regulation establishes:
1) objects of technical regulation;
2) safety requirements to objects of technical regulation;
3) rules of identification of objects of technical regulation;
4) forms and assessment procedures (confirmation) of compliance of objects of technical regulation to requirements of this Technical regulation.
1. The purposes of adoption of this Technical regulation are:
1) protection of life and health of the person;
2) the prevention of actions, the misleading acquirers (consumers);
3) environment protection.
1. Objects of technical regulation of this Technical regulation are released and being in circulation on single customs area of the Customs union:
1) nutritional supplements, complex dietary supplements;
2) fragrances;
3) technological supportive applications;
4) food products regarding content in it nutritional supplements, biologically active agents from fragrances, residual amounts of technological supportive applications;
5) production processes, storages, transportations, realization and utilizations of nutritional supplements, fragrances and technological supportive applications.
