1. Technical regulation "Mineral fertilizers. The main requirements" (further - the Technical regulation) it is applied to products delivered on the market as mineral or chemical fertilizers (further - fertilizers) in strong, liquid state or in the form of aerosols, irrespective of country of source. Types of fertilizers and the requirement to their quality, and also the complex fertilizers containing several elements necessary for food of plants are provided in appendix No. 1 to this Technical regulation.

This Technical regulation establishes mandatory requirements to quality, marking, labeling, packaging, assessment of conformity of fertilizers (sampling technique, analysis methods), for the purpose of objective market monitoring, prevention of false representation of consumers concerning their structure, appointment, origin, quality and safety, in order to avoid accidents, health protection of the person, animals and the environment.
