Regulations on Committee of the industry of tourism of the Ministry of the industry and new technologies of the Republic of Kazakhstan

1. General provisions

1. The committee of the industry of tourism of the Ministry of the industry and new technologies of the Republic of Kazakhstan (further - Committee) is the department performing within competence of the Ministry of the industry and new technologies of the Republic of Kazakhstan (further - the Ministry) and according to the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan regulating, control and realizable functions in the sphere of tourist activities.

2. The committee performs the activities according to the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the laws, acts of the President and the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, other regulatory legal acts, and also this Provision.

3. The committee is legal entity in form of business of public institution, has seals and stamps with the name in state language, forms of the established sample, and also according to the legislation of the account in bodies of Treasury of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

4. The committee enters the civil relations from own name.

5. The committee has the right to act as the party of the civil relations on behalf of the state if it is authorized on it according to the legislation.

6. The structure and the number of staff of Committee affirms the responsible secretary of the Ministry of the industry and new technologies of the Republic of Kazakhstan after coordination with the first head of the Ministry within the number of staff of the Ministry.

12. The main objectives of Committee within competence of the Ministry are:

1) participation in forming and realization of state policy in the sphere of tourist activities;

2) participation in forming and realization of single policy on investment attraction in tourist industry;

3) implementation of the state control of compliance with law of the Republic of Kazakhstan about tourist activities.

13. According to the assigned tasks the Committee in the procedure established by the legislation performs the following functions:

13.1 for the purpose of, realization of task on participation in forming and realization of state policy in the sphere of tourist activities:

1) realizes state policy in the field of tourist activities, strategy, the state, industry (sectoral) development programs of tourism and the tourist industry;

2) performs cross-industry and interregional coordination in the field of tourist activities, including coordination of programs and development plans for tourism of akimats of areas (the city of republican value, the capital), interaction with domestic, foreign and international tourism, public and other organizations and persons, performing and tourist activities, irrespective of patterns of ownership in the field of tourist activities;

3) develops rules of retraining and advanced training of specialists of tourist activities;

4) is regulated by activities in the sphere of standardization in the field of tourist activities;

5) distributes information on Kazakhstan and its tourist opportunities in the international tourist market and in the state, including by holding republican and international exhibitions and fairs in the field of tourist activities;

6) participates in the organization and work of conferences, seminars, information promo tours for representatives of the leading world means mass information and tour operators, experience exchange with specialists in the sphere of tourism;

14) participates in development of development programs of tourist industry in the Republic of Kazakhstan;
