About rates for medical and sanitary services
Based on Art. 7 of the Law No. 411-XIII of March 28, 1995 on health protection (The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 1995, No. 34, the Art. 373), with subsequent changes and amendments, DECIDES: the Government
1. Approve:
Regulations on rates for medical and sanitary services according to appendix No. 1;
Methodology of establishment of rates for provision of medical and sanitary services according to appendix No. 2;
2. Determine that public medical and sanitary organizations calculate rates for medical and sanitary services on the basis of costs/expenses according to the Technique of establishment of rates for provision of medical and sanitary services and bear responsibility for correctness of calculations and service quality.
3. To the Ministry of Health, work and social protection to exercise control of application of the Catalogue of single tariffs for medical and sanitary services, to provide updating of the Catalogue on the basis of the rates arriving from medical and sanitary organizations with the subsequent representation to their Government for consideration and approval.
4. Rates of the Catalogue of single tariffs for medical and sanitary services represent the maximum limit of cost of the medical and sanitary services provided for a fee by public medical and sanitary organizations and costs of one service in case of the conclusion by National medical insurance company of service provision agreements by public, private medical and sanitary institutions and public and private partnership.
4-1. Rates of the Catalogue of single tariffs for medical and sanitary services can be approved in the course of the conclusion of contracts with National medical insurance company and other suppliers.
4-2. Rates of the Catalogue of single tariffs for medical and sanitary services can be lowered by public medical and sanitary organizations based on the decision of the commission on assessment of rates created in organization if it the actual costs incurred on rendering paid medical and sanitary services allow.
5. Medical and sanitary organizations have the right to introduce in accordance with the established procedure and as necessary offers on approval of rates for medical and sanitary services which are not included in the specified Catalogue.
6. Provisions of appendix No. 3 to this Resolution are applied after 15 days after its publication in the Official monitor of the Republic of Moldova.
7. Recognize invalid some orders of the Government according to appendix No. 4.
