No. 1-4, 8), with subsequent changes and amendments, DECIDES: the Government

1. Approve:

Regulations on the organization and functioning of National bureau of statistics according to appendix No. 1;

structure of central office of National bureau of statistics according to appendix No. 2;

the list of the organizations subordinated to National bureau of statistics, according to appendix No. 3;

the list of the state companies in which the National bureau of statistics performs function of the founder, according to appendix No. 4;

staff of board of National bureau of statistics according to appendix No. 5.

2. Establish the extreme number of central office of National bureau of statistics in number of 196 units, with the salary fund according to the current legislation.

4. The national bureau of statistics will have two deputy directors general and board as a part of 9 people.

5. In case of release of members of board from posts of their obligation as a part of board persons who are again appointed to these positions without edition of the new order of the Government will carry out.

6. In the name of appendix No. 5 to the Order of the Government No. 1108 of September 25, 2006. "About compensation of employees of some organizations financed from the budget" (Official monitor of the Republic of Moldova 2006, Art. No. 153-156, 1188), with subsequent changes and amendments, shall be replaced with words words of "Head department of information technologies under National bureau of statistics" "National bureau of statistics".

7. Recognize invalid some orders of the Government according to appendix No. 6.

Chapter I. General provisions

Scope of application

1. The regulations on the organization and functioning of National bureau of statistics (further - the Provision) establish tasks, the main functions, obligations and the rights of National bureau of statistics, and also the organization of its activities.

2. The national bureau of statistics (further - Bureau) is the central administrative authority which as the central body of statistics performs management and coordination of activities in the field of official statistics of the state.

3. The bureau is legal entity of the public law, has seal with the image of the State Emblem of the Republic of Moldova with the name, and also treasurer accounts.

4. The bureau submits to the Government and bears responsibility to the Government for accomplishment of the obligations assigned to it.

8. According to role and the mission, Bureau performs the following main functions:

Develops 1) and implements strategies of development for national statistical system, and also one-year and long-term statistical programs;

2) develops the legal and institutional bases necessary for achievement of strategic objectives in the area, and also mechanisms of their implementation in practice;

3) exercises management and control of realization, from the point of view of the quality, programs and plans accepted by the statistical plan at the central and regional levels;
