About cash allowance of the military personnel and provision of separate payments by it

Article 1. Subject of regulation of this Federal Law

This Federal Law establishes cash allowance of the military personnel and separate payments to the military personnel taking into account the held military positions, the given military ranks, general duration of military service, the carried-out tasks, and also conditions and procedure for passing of military service by them.

Article 2. Cash allowance of the military personnel

1. The cash allowance of the military personnel passing military service under the contract is fixed asset of their material security and stimulation of fulfillment of duties of military service.

2. The cash allowance of the serviceman passing military service under the contract consists of monthly salary according to the given military rank (further - salary on military rank) and monthly salary according to the held military position (further - salary on military position) which constitute salary of monthly monetary pay of the serviceman (further - salary of monetary pay), and from monthly and other additional payments (further - additional payments).

3. The cash allowance of the serviceman undergoing military service consists of salary on military position and additional payments.

4. The single sizes of salaries on military ranks are established by the Government of the Russian Federation.

5. The sizes of salaries on standard military positions of the military personnel passing military service under the contract are established by the Government of the Russian Federation on representation of heads of federal executive bodies and federal state bodies in which the Federal Law provides military service.

6. The sizes of salaries on military positions of the military personnel undergoing military service are established by the Government of the Russian Federation on representation of heads of federal executive bodies and federal state bodies in which the Federal Law provides military service.

7. The sizes of salaries on non-standard military positions of the military personnel passing military service under the contract stanavlivatsya by heads of federal executive bodies and federal state bodies in whom the Federal Law provides military service, in relation to the sizes of salaries on standard military positions of the specified military personnel.

8. The serviceman undergoing military service in the territories and (or) in the conditions specified in part 23 of this Article establishes the sizes of salaries on military positions and additional payments on the regulations provided for the military personnel passing military service under the contract on the corresponding military positions which are subject to replacement with soldiers, sailors, sergeants and foremen.

9. The sizes of salaries on military positions and salaries on military ranks annually increase (are indexed) taking into account the rate of inflation (consumer prices) according to the Federal Law on the federal budget for the next financial year and planning period. The decision on increase (indexation) in the sizes of salaries of monetary pay of the military personnel is made by the Government of the Russian Federation.

10. To the serviceman undergoing military service the following additional payments are established:

1) the monthly allowance for command (management) of military division;

2) the monthly allowance for accomplishment of the tasks which are directly connected with risk for life and health in peace time;

3) the monthly allowance for work with the data which are the state secret.

11. The amount of the additional payment specified in Item 3 of part 10 of this Article is established by the Government of the Russian Federation on representation of heads of federal executive bodies and federal state bodies in which the Federal Law provides military service. The amount of the additional payments specified in Items 1 and 2 of part 10 of this Article is established by the head of federal executive body in whom the Federal Law provides military service, within the maximum sizes established by the Government of the Russian Federation.

12. To the serviceman passing military service under the contract the additional payments provided by parts 13, of 15, 17 - 24 and 26 (regarding payment in foreign currency) this Article are established.
