The government of the Republic of Belarus and the Government of the Azerbaijan Republic which are hereinafter referred to as "Party"

recognizing mutual interest in establishment of close and long-term collaboration in the field of tourism,

wishing to develop the relations between both countries in this area, and also between their national tourism organizations,

agreed as follows:

Article 1

The parties will promote expansion of tourist exchange between the Republic of Belarus and the Azerbaijan Republic for the purpose of acquaintance with life, history and culture of both people.

The cooperation will be performed according to legislations of the states of the Parties and provisions of this agreement.

Article 2

The parties will support closer cooperation between state bodies tourism and tourism organizations, and also between other organizations participating in development of the international and internal tourism.

Article 3

The parties will promote exchange of information about tourism development by printed materials, movies, to promote holding advertizing campaigns, conferences and seminars, the organization of exhibitions and fairs.

Article 4

The parties will promote cooperation in the field of training, preparation, exchange of specialists, personnel and students of the tourist sector. The parties will help both the public, and private organizations with realization of different researches and projects on tourism development.

Article 5

The parties through the state bodies tourism will communicate about the legislation concerning tourist activities and on activities in the international tourism organizations.

Article 6

For the purpose of more effective implementation of this agreement of the Party by mutual consent can create Joint committee which part specialists in tourism of both countries, for realization of common offerings, programs and decisions on development of bilateral cooperation in the field of tourism will be.

The committee will hold meeting once a year serially in the Republic of Belarus and the Azerbaijan Republic.

Article 7

The parties agreed that the following bodies are responsible for implementation of this agreement:

From the Republic of Belarus - the Ministry of Sport and tourism of the Republic of Belarus;

From the Azerbaijan Republic - the Ministry of youth, sport and tourism of the Azerbaijan Republic.

Article 8

Any of the Parties does not bear responsibility for application or use of results of cooperation by other Party under this agreement.

Article 9

By mutual consent of the Parties changes and additions which are drawn up the separate protocols which are its integral part and becoming effective according to the procedure, stipulated in Article the 12th this agreement can be made to this agreement.

Article 10

This agreement does not affect the rights and obligations of the Parties following from other international treaties which participants they are.

Article 11

The matters of argument arising in case of interpretation and application of this agreement are permitted by consultations and negotiations by agreement of the Parties.

Article 12

This agreement becomes effective from the date of obtaining through diplomatic channels of the last written notice of accomplishment of the interstate procedures by the Parties necessary for its entry into force.

This agreement is signed for a period of 5 (five) years and automatically prolonged for the subsequent five-year periods if any of the Parties in writing, not later than 6 (six) months before the expiration of the above-stated term, does not notify other Party on the intention to terminate this agreement.

Cancellation of this agreement will not exert impact on implementation of programs and projects which can be put into the period of its action provided that the Parties will not agree about other.
