1. Approve the Concept of forming of information space of the Commonwealth of Independent States it (is applied).
2. For the purpose of implementation of the above-named Concept to assign to the Executive Secretariat of the Commonwealth of Independent States organizational support of interaction of bodies of the Commonwealth and the organizations responsible for forming of information space in the states of the Commonwealth.
3. To the executive Secretariat of the Commonwealth with participation of plenipotentiaries of the State Parties of the CIS and the bodies of the Commonwealth interested departments of the State Parties of the Commonwealth, the national and international scientific organizations and associations to complete project development of the Perspective plan of preparation of documents and actions for implementation of the Concept of forming of information space of the Commonwealth of Independent States and to submit it for consideration of Council of Heads of Government of the Commonwealth in 1997.
It is made in the city of Moscow on October 18, 1996 in one authentic copy in Russian. The authentic copy is stored in the Executive Secretariat of the Commonwealth of Independent States which will send to each state which signed this Decision, its verified copy.
