Article 1. The banner of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, banner of Navy, banners of other types of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation are official symbols and military relics of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, Navy, other types of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.

Panel of banner of Navy is the Naval flag of the Russian Federation representing the white rectangular panel crossed by blue diagonal (Andreevsky) cross. Flag width relation to its length 2:3. Relation of width of the ends of cross to length of flag 1:10.

The multi-color drawing of banner of Navy is placed in appendix 2 to this Federal Law.

Article 4. The banner of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and banner of Navy are handed by the President of the Russian Federation and stored respectively in the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and General staff of Navy.

The banner of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and banner of Navy are officially used according to the procedure, determined by the President of the Russian Federation.

Article 5. Regulations on banners of types of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation (except Navy), their descriptions and drawings affirm the President of the Russian Federation.
