This Federal Law establishes organization-legal features of privatization of property of federal rail transport, and also management and the order of property of rail transport.
For the purposes of this Federal Law the following basic concepts are used:
the organizations federal railway the transportagosudarstvenny unitary enterprises and public institutions which are under authority of federal executive body in the field of rail transport;
property federal railway transportaimushchestvenny complexes of the state unitary enterprises and property of the public institutions which are under authority of federal executive body in the field of rail transport (including property of social appointment);
single business entity - the Russian Railways open joint stock company created in the course of privatization of property of federal rail transport.
1. Privatization of property of federal rail transport is performed in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation about privatization taking into account the features established by this Federal Law.
2. In the course of privatization of property of federal rail transport the single business entity by withdrawal of property at the organizations of federal rail transport and its entering into the authorized capital of single business entity is created.
In the course of privatization of property of federal rail transport which on the bases provided by this Federal Law is not brought in the authorized capital of single business entity other open joint stock companies in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation can be created.
