PROTOCOL ON ENSURING TECHNICAL AND INFORMATION COMPATIBILITY OF ARMS AND MILITARY EQUIPMENT OF FORCES AND MEANS OF SYSTEM OF COLLECTIVE SECURITY OF THE COLLECTIVE SECURITY TREATY ORGANIZATION

State members of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (further - the Parties),

being guided by provisions of the Agreement on collective security of May 15, 1992 and need of ensuring interaction of armed forces of the Parties in case of accomplishment of joint tasks,

agreed as follows:

Article 1

The this Protocol aims:

realization of single approaches under the organization of application of the associations, connections, parts and divisions allocated from national armed forces and other troops of the Parties in structure of forces and means of system of collective security of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (further - forces and means of system of collective security);

ensuring effective management of forces and means of system of collective security in case of accomplishment of objectives by them;

creation of conditions for operational requirements satisfaction of forces and means of system of collective security in technical, logistic and information support.

Article 2

In the this Protocol technical and information compatibility of samples of arms and military equipment (further - VVT) is meant as suitability of VVT which are on arms of the associations, connections, parts and divisions allocated from national armed forces and other troops of the Parties in structure of forces and means of system of collective security to joint use in the set conditions, to accomplishment of the approved operational and tactical standard rates, implementation of maintenance and army repair with use of the means of technical supply which are on equipment of armed forces of the Parties.

Article 3

For the purpose of realization of the this Protocol the Integrated headquarters of the Collective Security Treaty Organization within year after its entry into force create according to offers of the Ministries of Defence of the Parties the list of samples of VVT (further - the List), their parameters and numerical characteristics providing their technical and information compatibility.

The list is obligatory, affirms and is as required adjusted by the decision of the Council of Ministers of Defense of the Collective Security Treaty Organization.

Article 4

The parties in the terms approved by the Ministries of Defence of gosudarstvchlen of the Collective Security Treaty Organization equip associations, connections, parts and divisions of the armed forces allocated in structure of multilateral forces and means of system of collective security, VVT samples meeting List conditions.

Article 5

The matters of argument connected using or interpretation of the this Protocol, are permitted by consultations and negotiations of concerned parties.

Article 6

Changes and additions in the this Protocol are made by mutual consent and drawn up by separate protocols which are integral part of the this Protocol and become effective according to the procedure, stipulated in Article the 7th this Protocol.

Article 7

The this Protocol becomes effective from the date of delivery on storage to depositary of the fourth written notice of accomplishment by the Parties of the interstate procedures necessary for its introduction which signed it in force.

For the Parties which performed necessary interstate procedures later the this Protocol becomes effective from the date of delivery of the relevant documents to depositary.

Article 8

The this Protocol acts during the term of the agreement about collective security of May 15, 1992 if the Parties do not agree about other.

Each Party can leave the this Protocol, having sent the written notice to depositary not later than six months before date of exit, having settled the financial and other liabilities which arose during action of the this Protocol.

It is made in the city of Moscow on December 10, 2010 in one authentic copy in Russian. The authentic copy is stored in the Secretariat of the Collective Security Treaty Organization which will send to each Party, signatory the this Protocol, its verified copy.
